@ivigamerxd8406 Fortunately, all my bad luck went to Genshin and relics, so I have a decent lineup. My worry is with the ones who have the equivalent of my awful Genshin luck over here in HSR. I don’t think I’ll be able to get Luocha or Archeon since I used up my guaranteed right before the update, so I’ll have to keep throwing myself at it over and over again with what I have. Main strategy I’ve heard is to hoard AoE ults for characters without AoE skills and only use them for the dice, which is hard to do when you don’t have the energy to do them and it’s not guaranteed that you’ll get that ult back to deal the damage you need… What also sucks is that my DPS is Ratio and Aventurine resists Imaginary

@@xxreapxrxx267 hello! i just finished the boss fight recently. i recommend giving your healer 70% effect res (broken keel and perfect timing helps)! if you have ruan mei, use her since she gives all type res and break efficiency, though you could use fmc or any second sustainer for that matter. i used argenti though u could use any aoe dealers.
I changed my teams 4 times over an hour and still die with little health left on second phase, it's so retarded man, I hate when they boss so annoying during the story phase, it really ruins the story immersion., this boss fight renewed my hate for aventurine
I feel like if they want to keep this gamble mechanic, there should be a debuff placed on HIM if he loses, and at least some sort of pause in between so it gives the player time to prepare for the gamble mechanic. Or have it so where there's a way you can possibly prevent him from starting it up, like breaking his shield or another spawn before he can do it. Having it happen back to back, stunning you to only push you right back into it, it's just an unending loop that plans to wash out your team.
I genuinely thought that’s what that would happen with the 10+ point win…. I get that it’s a boss fight, but a character circled around gambling should get some kind of debuff rather than “You’re safe. For now. You did really good? Here’s an attack up. Hope you don’t die before you can put it to use-,”

@imthebadguy2693 I haven’t beat it either (to be fair, I came out a little bit earlier than you during Argenti), but I’ve heard that for your supports, you need characters that have AoE ults. When the ults are ready, you save them for the dice and use them for that. Problem is with the energy drain though
@imthebadguy2693 I got to 2nd phase, but only managed to chip away until like 70% of it. Believe me, 2nd phase is hell and my Ratio is going through PTSD of having been hounded with the ultimate attack *twice*

i've never actually struggled with a boss until this point, pretty sure i've fought him over 10 times already phase 1 is ez but phase 2 is where everyone starts to die for me despite having 2-3 sustains each time :')
do those sustains have effect res? i did it with the free fire tb\35 eff res lynx the key is to not get the single target healer\cleanser cc'ed when they lose the gamble on phase 2 effect res it is (I also had a mediocre eO jingliu\blade but blade's not built and was there just to fill the spot, generate sp and be immortal which is his lore accurate job)

The problem is here is that in phase 2, your chara's survivability is determined by whether they have aoe/blast atk or not. And most healers and shielderd dont have it. Even if you bring all 4 sustainer units in phase 2, if you cant aoe, all of them will be attacked. Its very stupid tbh. Why cant they just make it as accumulation of points instead ?

The reason why this boss is so fucking bad is that in this game you can't even use your actual gaming skill to defeat it. With these bosses and enemies, you just need to pay to roll good characters and their cones. I think that it is completely unfair, because I almost don't have strong characters simply because I don't like them and don't want to pull for them. As f2p who rolls only for characters I really like, this boss fight is freaking me out.
That fight made me quit the game for good, I am a low spender, but I never pull for characters that I don't like, so I just play WuWa now and have a much better experience , everything can be cleared if you have enough skill
I really hate this fight. I've been sitting at this fight for over an hour, and the furthest I've gotten is 18% health left on the first phase. Since I am free to play, I also have a very limited access to characters, but I honestly find this fight so unfair, because there is often times where I just cannot do anything or no matter what I do, I die. The best characters I have are Nathasa, Herta, Hanya and Serval. That's my team for this fight. And I just keep on dying before even getting to the second phase. This battle feels like the game forces us to spend money on either Acheron or Luocha, which I find incredibly unfair. And I know this text is long, but I wanna complain Update: I have been trying for around 6 more hours now witb Gepard in my Team instead of Hanya, but i still die in the second phase due to the dices appearing every 3 turns and always Rolls higher than a 6, resulting in me almost directly losing Natasha Update: After around 4 more tries, I finally defeated him. Thank you to everyone giving me tips, it really helped!
get ur Lynx (dunno abt Natasha) more than 35 effect res, use broken keel planar set and eff res substats, that shall do it that made it for me Lynx kept on getting controlled and dying in phase 2 but no more EFFECT RES MY DUDES
Go for fire trailblazer, Serval, Asta and either Natasha or Bailu. 2nd phase use ur aoe ultimates only on the dice mechanic so you can actually hit them all. Your very likely to get the max bonus and refill your ultimate after.
honestly if they would just reduce his fucking speed so that you actually get a chance to roll numbers like 9 instead of only getting one turn during a phase WHERE YOU CANT HIT HIM ANYWAYS would make this fight infinitely less cancer Edit: Like even on characters that have multi hit, winning the gamble isnt guaranteed, which is kind of fitting because you are still rolling dice, but the fact that the supposed counter measure might jsut fuck you in the ass still, as it happened to me where my jingliu missed the dice 2x in a row and died while aventurine was on 4% hp, is isane
Step 1. All your characters must have multi hit( ult or skill) Step 2. Save ult Step 3. Wait for gamba Step 4. Use every ult Step 5. Win Step 6. Save ult Step 7. Rinse and repeat He gives your ult back everytime you win so just save your ult only for the gamba For the record, this works Beat him 2nd try with sampo, new fire guy, pela and acheron
@@hongfeiwei2710 hitting 3 dice is ALMOST guaranteed to put you above 9, but there again not definitely. You can for instance hit 3 1s or 3 2s or any combination really that puts you below 9. and if your answer to that is that that is unreasonably unlikely, you also have to keep in mind, either you bring a sup with you which acts as a huge sp drain, or you dont but both cases increse the time spent fighting the boss because it decreases your dps. This makes it so that this scenario isnt just a statistically unlikely event, but a statistic inevitability.

Tip for the first phase if you have no good preservation : Preservation Trailblazer can taunt Aventurine, and his enhanced basic attack is good for the dice. Just make sure he has his stacks up. Blade is insanely great for this fight because he can hit 3 dice at the same time, and his follow-up attack can be useful. He doesn't consume many skill points either. When Aventurine has 6 or more points, I recommend to heal your low hp characters unless he has 6 and you want to risk it. Using imaginary characters is pretty bad in this fight because of his imaginary resistance. And someone who wants skill points like Dan Heng can be pretty hard to manage unless you have high investment and maybe Sparkle. And luck, of course. I had to retry a few times, but it was worth it either way.

Nah this is literally get better characters or get fked situation. Boss needs balancing for sure Edit: I did beat it finally. Hopefully this advice helps: Use characters with proper elemental breaks so you can weakness break him easily. I used Argenti, ruan mei, fire mc(is a must) and lynx. Argenti 2nd skill and ultimate worked like wonder. Ruan mei's break effect made it way easier to break him more often. (Don't use Dan heng IL unless you want to make your life harder) This fight was almost impossible without a good sustain, fire mc targets multiple dice and helps with shields. Any healer with faster ult regen and high healing is a must. You won't survive otherwise. Use items to boost your attack and hp percentage(not required but should help you). During 2nd phase make sure to fk em up asap by weakness breaking this is the only solution to his ult spam. Take your time and you eventually beat it. Good luck 🤞
I finna run acheron since when I win the gamble I'll get the ult regen and damage the boss as of the sustain units ima go lynx and fire TB but I'm stuck for the fourth slot btw pela/silver wolf/guianfen

@@NotShantrixyou don’t need a whole AOE team. You have default tb for dps, nat/lynx for healing and march for shields, pela or asta can also be quite good since pela’s ult is aoe and charges really fast and asta has a bounce attack. At his second stage, save your ults for pela and march. Usually your healer will lose the gamble, but march can cleanse and remove the cc. And if you have one of the 5* destruction or erudition characters like Kafka, archeron, argenti, jingliu, Blade, DHIL, then it’s even easier to beat, since phys TB isnt that great at being a dps
I was excited to fight him, but when he killed one of my character not even half way into his first phase i realised this fight is gonna be hard af. Gotta level up and raise my trace to even have a chance in beating him. This is not the fun and wholesome you promised us hoyo! Edit : FINALLY beat him using jing yuan, gepard, sparkle and natasha, the process is tedious and it took 40 minutes
im a day one player who have zero problems with doing 3star moc 11 and 12 (12 if buffs are good) but that "get lucky or fuck yourself boss" is actually infuriating. Im sorry for all new players that will be forced to do that abomination
They have to make it like genhsin that you can change the boss level. Even me a day one player can't kill him, maybe that cuz i don't have any limited sustains cuz i lose the 50/50 every time

i started playing this game in late january and don't have many characters, and this boss is giving me hell. my only built dps is dr ratio and a half-assed built himeko, i'm saving for a guaranteed aventurine but i'm seriously considering going for acheron right now, just so i can beat this boss. honestly, i wish they had the option to use your friends' support characters in these things. i'd use my friend's jing yuan or jingliu and beat this boss in a heartbeat. EDIT: okay, i beat him. i used my himeko, a pela i just got, march, and natasha. my himeko died, and i had to take down his hp 1% by 1% with pela, march, and nat. i always kept shields up on natasha and when he used his summons, i used pela's and march's ults to hit them all at once, and because nat couldn't, i had to keep march's shields up on her at all times. it took ages because my damage was very low, but i did it.

If anyone reading this needs some tips -Beating Aventurine is about minimizing risk; his damage doesn't ramp up in the second phase so it's mostly about out sustaining him. -Every character has to either 1. Have an AOE (blast is also good enough) in their kit or 2. Doesn't mind getting hit (Full &/or high HP, sustain character) -Characters that are neither has to go so no buffers/debuffers. They make killing him faster but chances are if you need help you just need to out-sustain him (as said above.) -Aventurine also has resistance to crowd control and imaginary damage, so no Welt. You are unlikely to disrupt his turn phase without high effect hit rate -When Aventurine starts the dice rolling minigame, your characters will lose a blip of energy so they can't cast without attacking first, therefore for squishy characters: you *need* to have a skill point for your AOE skill or have enough energy to cast your ultimate after your action -If you do not have the above, you may have to put off dealing damage to make sure you do Some examples -Fire trailblazer cannot die and will generate you a skill point each turn -Serval is good. Ultimate and skill means she won't get hit during dice phase -Acheron cannot have her energy drained and has a burst skill -Herta (and Argenti) are good, but the fight will take longer -Jingliu is doesn't mind holding her ult make sure she has energy to hit the dice with it Team -Sustain, Fire MC, damage dealer with burst/AOE in their kit -Do not use any other character if you are struggling. There are some caveats (idk if Asta/Pela can work) but this is otherwise the simple truth. The point of this boss fight is minimizing risk (the boss is literally a gambler.) After that, the fight is slow and tedious but easy stat-check If you are still struggling, use consumables, grind, or get good
the issue is my sustains can't sustain. lynxs healing isn't good enough and i have HORIID luck with ER ropes so i have literally none. lynx basically just gets clapped. and gepard well unless you get his ult up he CAN'T do his job(again no ER ROPE) im using clara instead of fire mc and dan heng since well...he's kinda my only built dps
@@aceknight6622 from my personal experience, lynx should work fine IF your other characters arent gonna lose their gambles. i would try to make it so lynx only has to heal herself, and maybe one other person every once in a while
@@MaekawaHikaru 1. lynx can't only heal herself is the issue she literally doesn't have enough healing to out Heal the damage so she gets fucked. Only healing her was never an option 2. I already beat it. I used march instead of Clara spammed her skill on lynx since ot was enough to protect her and used lynx to heal.march when needed. Marchs ult is an aoe and because winning the gamble gave her,her ult back she was able to.just spam it every gamble. March was literally my MVP
@@aceknight6622 i kind of get what you're tryna say, but i solo sustained with lynx along herta, black swan, and pela. the strategy was to make it so lynx can heal the amount of damage i take, because only lynx would take damage in a party where 3 out of 4 characters would win their gambles (aoe is goated). so in fact, only healing her is an option. either way, congrats on being able to complete the second act of the penacony story!
After thinking it was impossible I did beat him. Here's how Bailu - Fire MC - Lynx - Kafka First round is an easy clear Second round, Fire MC and Kafka will nearly always win the roulette due to their aoe hits so they'll be active for most of it, Bailu and Lynx won't, so during dice rounds, don't bother to use their attacks on the dice, just heal and prepare accordingly for the attacks he will do and make sure you heal enough to survive, also try to use fire MC ult in the middle of dice roll stage so you can give them some shield to help them tank the damage Effect Res on Lynx is gonna remove the RNG aspect alot, since she won't get improsioned and can free bailu from prisonment, The game plan is you gotta make sure the healers stay alive as much as possible, Kafka and Fire MC will be chilling they'll get occasionally healed as is and they'll be at full health most of the time Final detail. You NEED good sustain builds, I needed like 5k-6k health and as much def on bailu and Lynx as you can, you basically need to make sure you can outheal whatever damage he puts on them and you'll win Use your Kafka ult + skill outside of dice mode to do your damage, break his shield and chip away till the end BONUS TIP: CONSUMABLES AND SKILLS WORK, USE THEM BEFORE INTERACTING WITH MARCH!!

@@joshushushu serval, March, Nat, and Stelle (preservation) will do. Take HP-boosting consumables (I recommend the Floatdisc Burger from Penacony) and fill your energy up to max before the fight. Save up all your ults for the gamble phase. If I’m not mistaken, the boss’s pattern is single target attack, AoE, Points Fountain (which drains some energy), then Gamble. When the boss uses Points Fountain (drains around 10 energy I believe) refill your energy during your turn using any action (Basic/Skill). Use Stelle’s taunt to make sure she gets targeted by the Gamble. Since her ult is AoE, use her ult to win during Phase 1. If Nat gets targeted, have her use her skill on March, then use March to shield Nat. The “Look, Don’t Speak” special debuff during this Phase is actually removable (I tested it with Lynx and then abused it when she gets targeted by the gamble). Only use your ults during Gamble. Except for Nat, your other characters should have AoE ultimates. Try to protect Nat this turn because she will lose the gamble due to being an Abundance unit lacking in AoE damage. Phase 1 has 3 dice you must hit, while Phase 2 has 4. The boss only scores 6-9, while you can hit anywhere between 1-6 per dice. I used Fu Xuan, Pela, and Lynx since I had them during the battle, and it helped me clear the battle in one try.
The main quest bosses in hsr are so hard for some reason lately. I had to bring 2 abundance and 2 preservations for Sam and just spam black swan's debuff, that was the only source of damage. I don't care if you make a weekly boss batshit crazy hard, but when i play the main quest, i wanna enjoy it. Keep the challenge for another time

Currently also trying to get S1(Light cone) is my last shine of hope to actually burning him down fast enough before he Dice‘s my team to perma stun. I tried multiple teams 3x sustain pure Dot etc all failed the moment 4 dice‘s appear it’s so sad. Never rly had a bad experience during my HSR time, besides being the unluckiest Banner roller ever. But yeah that fight is rly the first thing I rly dislike. Hope they nerf it somehow.
I've only started playing last week and got to this part. I'm now crying since I really can't defeat him. update: after hours of experimenting with my f2p heroes, I managed to defeat him with: gallagher - march - serval - natasha (yes all 4 star only) march and serval were mostly the ones who deal with the damage and gambling while gallagher and nat for hp and skill points. I was very cautious in spending skill pts for serval's skill in the gambling parts as well as hp so I mostly had march just putting shields on nat who can't really hit more than 1. one of the strat I used is making sure march and gallagher's ult are close to activating so when it comes to the gambling, use basic or skill (depending on how close the ult) then I just press LT at the right time so I can use it to hit more dice. it's gonna fully regenerate anyway when you win the gamble so use it immediately after. key thing to this boss is a lot of patience and girl power ❄️💪
For anyone needing help this is what I used Fire trailblazer, march, natasha and dr ratio and finished him first try, you wanna focus on defense and let march slowly damage him. Trailblazer you wanna spam his shield on the characters unless the boss is opened to attacks (once his shield is gone), march you wanna defend natasha then herself then trailblazer then ratio, natasha just slowly heals everyone and dr ratio just his basic attack. It took about an hour to complete it since it takes time but just focus on defending the characters from the attacks and healing them with natasha, when the boss hits a character march will instantly hit him back and that's how you slowly damage him and win. His domain expansion is very annoying but every time you get the opportunity use natasha to heal everyone. Patience is key if you're f2p and barely any characters like me, these were all free and obtained throughout the story. Hope this helps :)
You must be joking. 3 sustains to defeat this boss? I have been trying for hours to defeat him and I know I am not the only one. Edit: Finally defeated him with E0S0 Acheron and double sustain with Lynx and Gallagher. Sustains are the key! Surviving the fight is the hardest part. Also the atk reduction that Gallagher gives is amazing.
I'm glad everyone here had the same united experience here. I honestly realized that stalling the fight out is probably the optimal strat. I'm gonna write my experience with it for the F2P (even though I'm kinda cheating since I had Clara and Huohuo. Not much should change though.), maybe it'll also help out others. I brought phys TB for damage, March, Clara (mostly for SP regen but also to help break with FUA) and Huohuo. I dont know how well Natasha's/Lynx's healing (I think theyre both given for free) could keep up but the ulting every opportunity should work really well, based on ehat I've seen. I should note this now, since I tried this fight a dozen times and learned this the hard way: SP are needed for the phase 2 dice rolls, so save your AOE ults (yes, you NEED AOE characters for this fight, the more the better) and skills for there, just in case your skill points run out. We're playing for survival, not flashiness ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Phase one honestly isn't that bad since only one character is targeted by the gamble attack. You can use March shield on herself and I found it works really well to draw his attack. If it doesnt work, that's where your heals are needed. Hinestly dont need to manage SP too much here, but definitely always have at least one, just in case. Now phase 2 is where the hell starts. Don't use your ults or skills unless you have to... Save them for the dice, so you can conserve SP and have a backup if you accidentally run out. If you go with an 'optimal' team, all characters except your healer should have an AOE that only needs one SP (unless you have Luocha). This is going to be an entirely luck-based strategy, because it can very easily fall apart. BUT. Save as much SP as you can for the dice. If you havent ulted prior to the gambling move and your energy was already full, a normal or skill will be enough to get you up to the ult if you need it. (Not that you'll be using it for anything but the dice anyway). It's because kf this that I recommend saving an SP for March and whichever healer you brought along. March's shield (at least for my defensive build) should be enough to let the healer tank the full force of the coins. Provided no one else got hit by that attack, it should be manageable. The healer can cycle healing characters as needed. If you dont get unlucky... You can stall out the fight with only normals and a ridiculous number of heals. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk, I hope this might help someone. Oh yeah, i almost forgot! Build your characters for HP/DEF, BE instead of damage. You'll need enough to survive the gamble attack and the attack immediately following, especially for March and your healer. The occasional times you break Aventurine should be where the bulk of your damage comes from.

You'd probably run out of SP spamming it every turn. Hopefully Hoyoverse turns the difficulty way down and lowers his speed or something.

If you haven’t beat him yet I ran a similar team and finally beat him For pela never use her ult until the dice game. Use her basic attack every turn for energy and debuffs For Natasha/lynx have them use their skill on themselves only, every turn so they don’t die to the dice and heal the team with ultimates. Clara and Acheron can keep themselves safe with the AOE unless you unfortunately roll crazy low even with aoe

finally beat the boss ... it took me an hourrr. I use Gepard, march (MVP), physical MC, Natasha. Keep march ult and shield ready all the time, she is the most useful as her ult will definitely save her from phase two and her shield can dispel Natasha for heal. T.T tough sheeets.. not easy as a f2p and the boss is lvl83
this team can work but the worst part here is, in his second face he's just gonna spam that stupid move that's absolutly busted. Other than that he's a really fun boss, if it wasn't for the second face. I wanted a hard boss fight, but I do not want a dark souls like boss fight if dark souls was a turn base.
@@makoryu I mean he is resisted to imaginary damage by like.. 150%? Rule of thumb: if the playable character is a certain element, don't bring that element to their boss fight. They tend to be resisted to it absurdly so.

I have Acheron, it’s not better even by a bit to have a high dealing damager. The moment 4 Dice appear teammates are bound to die. And then it snowballs. Fight was set up to fail basically
@@shiro12okami69 yes, i have acheron too, it suprised me that her damage was reduced to 10k, normally it's 70k, the boss was really tanky. But finally i defeated him, since acheron's ult is not affected by the dice, and having 3 sustainers
@@shiro12okami69 If your teamates have a 4k below lifespan then they are truly bound to die no matter what you do, thankfully I built my characters with above 4k HP and my lynx is cracked with 7k HP and she always survive Aventurine's hits partially thanks to Fire MCs sustain
My god, the boss literally killed my Welt on the first turn. I'm so extremely glad I have both Luocha and Argenti, I wouldn't have been able to cheese the boss without them.
Is Luocha good for this fight? I know Aventurine has a high imaginary resistance and I've just got Luocha. I have Argenti and Gepard too, and I keep dying orz
luocha can always win the gamble with his aoe ultimate, so he never dies and can cleanse the rest and gets the ult fully recharged to boot not bad the healer's not here for their damage anyway they are to keep themselves and ur buffers alive
ive just finished the boss fight and i have to say this is the worst one in the game. my two best built dps are seele and il dan heng, both of them are borderline useless in this bossfight. i was lucky enough to get acheron but even with her i struggled. tip i recommend using is in the second phase hold onto your aoe ultimates for the gambling part so you can gurantee most of your team will be able to act. i know it already got nerfed but i believe this is actually unbeatable to any new players

Just use aoe, and bring two sustain, DOT is really strong against him, if you’re using a harmony or nihility make sure their skill or ult does aoe so asta or pela.

Some one said it before but I can't find who... I used Natasha, march, normal mc with the bat and serval Use march to tank his bs aoe attacks and save her ult to spin all the dice and you will win 99% of the time. Mc and serval can win most of the time too unless you get unlucky and run out of skill points or bad rolls. As for nat one of march's skills you can level up will get rid of debuffs and it helps a ton Basically name of the game is to wait him out and tank his hits with the shields and use mc and serval ult to break him and do damage
I'm a new player using F2P characters. My Equilibrium level is 3, and my TB level is 50. I managed to defeat Aventurine on my first try. I used Serval Lv 60, Physical TB Lv 60, March 7th Lv 60 (Preservation), and Natasha Lv 60. It's crucial to level up traces and relics, as they make a significant difference. Aim for 5-star/gold relics and use the appropriate ones (the best builds for the four characters you’re using). If you're unsure, you can find guides on Google or RUclips. There are two phases to defeating Aventurine. In Phase 1, I attacked Aventurine with my two DPS (Serval, TB). When faced with gambling, I used their AoE abilities. For March 7th, I focused on defending Serval, TB, and Natasha. Similarly, I focused Natasha on healing the DPS characters. In Phase 2, I used AoE DPS and each character's Ultimate, except for Natasha, as she relies heavily on March 7th's shield. In both phases, to protect March, I always used her Ultimate when faced with Aventurine's gambling. Using March's basic attack doesn't score high points, so I always opt for her Ultimate. (p.s: I deliberately didn't raise my Equilibrium to 4 because if my characters aren't well-built, farming will be difficult as enemy levels will also rise.)
A tip of advice for everyone: a HEALER and SHIELDER are a NECESSITY!! Literally tried so many team comps and the thing that help the most was a shield and being able to heal. Your main dps should preferably be able to attack more than one target so you can hit more dice, and for that last slot should preferably be another healer or if you can make it work another shielder or multi target dps character. Your team also NEEDS to be built to the best of your abilities. My team was: Dan heng(IL), Gepard, Natasha, and HuoHuo (sorry if I misspelled a name) Using my team I was able to beat ‘em. It just takes some strategy and time! ;-; (Edit:) I used Dan heng(IL) for multi target dps, Gepard for shield, Natasha for healing, and HuoHuo for multi character healing and support. I’m mostly f2p (saying this cause I’ve spent a max of 3-5 bucks on hsr) so I know you don’t gotta whale to be able to beat this and can probably do it with only 4* characters and definitely can with standard banner characters! Just gonna take some trial and error to see what works.
I thought it was a battle you were scripted to lose. I brought Kafka, BS, Fire MC and Jingyuan with no thought at the start not expecting a boss fight. But except for Fire MC they died, and Fire MC wouldn't die. So I retried and brought Kafka, Clara, Fire MC and Luocha (surely none will die). So I beat him though it took long.
Tf is this fight my jingliu with decent artifacts and max traces deals fucking 4% in her enchanced form. Power creep in this game is ridiculous Update: it took a total of 3 hours of trying and a whole ass newly built character to beat it but even with shitty artifacts gallagher was my savior
OK I THINK I CRACK THE CODE, I use two healers, shield trailblazer and a dps with area attack (jingliu in my case), the two healers (I use Natasha and lynx) can't usually survive second phase gambling + his other attacks, so I use the trailblazer ability to reduce the damage, I think is important to use the dps and the trailblazer to win the gambling (the trailblazer attacks 3 of the dices so it usually gets more than 9 points), and then use the trailblazer shield as much as I cant, try to use all the heals you have available and keep the healers at full life.
@@sarinamarina1638 yeah, I get it when I decide to change my Gepard for the trailblazer, the damage reduction really helps to keep the two healers alive.
I managed to beat him with March 7th, Bailu, Physical Trailblazer et Acheron, I was sweating the whole time (if you don't have Bailu, use Natasha instead and if you don't have Acheron, use Serval)

I've been trying to beat adventurine for the past two days what the hell were they thinking Edit: I was running a preservation and a abundance but I'd advice again that that and use 3 sustains and ur best built DPS preferably one that can hit multiple targets cause those dice are a problem and the more heat off ur DPS the better. I cleared now so definitely worked

Honestly the key to beating this boss is to have units which have at least SOME kind of aoe (ults). Just save the ults for the gambles, try to keep an auto sustainer running and somebody who can actually deal decent damage without the ult (or with the ult if the skill is aoe ex:acheron) It took me a million tries to figure out gallagher couldnt save everyone on time and that firefly weakness team is useless due to the EXTREMELY short intervals of hit time. I had to build my completely unbuilt pela,gui and acheron to finally beat this shit with luocha as the auto sustainer immortal... pela survived with her ult (her basic still applies defense break so is op), gui skill is aoe, acheron skill is aoe and luocha ult is useless so can be used for dice part.
Didnt really notice the pre-nerf difficulty... and i was playing with the astral express crew who were canonically there because i thought it was fun. Was a little challenging but the AoE helped me avoid all of his hard hitting attacks plus the two preservation characters.
A month later and I still can't beat this boss. I don't have any characters that provide shields, so it is impossible for me to pass the second phase. I've tried Kafka, Argenti, Ratio, IL, etc and it's impossible. I gave up, I don't know what to do...
hi there! you really only need a healer and aoe dps to clear this, but i understand its tricky. shielders are better but healers are enough to get through this boss (personally, i used only luocha and he clutched so hard) kafka + [healer of your choice] + argenti (or even DHIL, i used him and won) + [buffer of your choice or another healer if you want to play it safe] ^ this was a similar team comp i suggested to one of my friends who was struggling and they managed to clear it! - you need to save your healers skills/ults until the gambling phase and if your healers cant hit enough points you need to immediately hit the heal before he hits so they can tank it. you should use a hp scaling healer that can cleanse too, (natasha, lynx) so you can almost guarantee they can tank it. argenti and kafka are both aoe, they should remain out of that phase completely unscathed, so use them to hit when aventurine is down. if you do end up using natasha and lynx, you might want to just slap them will ALL hp stats. they'll be tanky and do a lot of healing that way. again, i wish u all the best! you will get through it ^^
I finally beat this goofball after a few days of thinking about deleting this game. During phase one, it wasn’t that hard but once I got into phase two, it was a whole nightmare. Please make sure you pay attention to your skill points, so you can do more damage to the dices and win the gamble. For my team, I used Pela, Natasha, Fire MC, and Kafka which are all level 70 (including light cones as well). Even though during the last phase, Pela died I was able to finish off the boss with Fire MC mainly defending and blasting at the dices, Kafka doing the most damage to the Boss and using Natasha’s ultimate consistently. Also, make sure your traces are well put together, especially your relics, and try to make your team eat and drink some consumables before the battle. Hope this helps! :3
Im loosing my mind 😭 I tried with Acheron, Bailu, Luocha and march (I still can’t do it) I swear I was on second phase, 30% left, after 15 minutes of the fight I thought that I finally might do it but it one shoted my Acheron and I had to quit 😭 Upgtade: OMG I DID IT
there is a strat to cheese it with but your gonna need to build up clara, gepie, trailblazer (phy), and any healer on the first phase you can just do a normal rotation of trying to break his weakness bar with clara and trailblazer and gepie is there to tank and aggro for everytime he does the annoying gamble thingy and for the second phase try to save up sp for both clara and trailblazer as they will always almost guaranteed to hit over 9+ points (in the bs per turn stun from the gamble bs) as for gepie i also recommend getting a energy rope for at least faster ult up time and as for the healer i do recommend bring someone like lnyx as she has a talent to resist debuff by 35% and build her for effect resist as 40+% is enough and pray for rng jesus that the agrro for both gepie and clara is enough to stall the whole fight
i beat him with kafka, clara, bailu, and gallagher, all level 60 with level 60 light cones and mostly leveled relics. keep gallagher’s ult ready for the gamble, and during phase 2 gamble use everyone’s skill and gallagher’s ult leaving only bailu losing the gamble. then you can use gallagher’s skill on her to free her from imprisonment and restore health, and repeat until you’ve won :D also stick to basic attacks so you have enough skill points for the gamble especially in phase 2, and use everyone’s ult (except gallagher since you’ll need his ult for the next gamble) right after winning the gamble. good luck ^^
I have trailblazer, lynx, sparkle and acheron. Because of this team, i do basically no damage, but i can kinda tank the hits. However, when this motherfucker hits 9 i can just accept my fate and lose anyway, good stuff hoyo thanks a lot
I almost used the same team as you!! Only thing is I used E6 Misha instead of Acheron. And it's true; this team can tank and save from aventurine, but does low damage and needs quite a lot of patience.
@@Lavender455 So, i feel like i might have a good answer now. I tried Clara and she actually works WONDERS here. She tanks pretty well, dishes out good damage, breaks, doesn't need skill points and even counter attacks for more break. However, when it comes to healing, I see thats where the problem lives. Lynx cannot handle the second phase because of the lack of AoE. I've been theorycrafting and i feel like maybe I should upgrade Gallagher or wait for aventurine to drop. My best idea of a team now has been: Acheron (great dps and has AoE + can break aventurine) Gallagher (great healer and has AoE) Clara (sub dps, has AoE + counters + can break aventurine) Fire Trailblazer (great tank, holds Debuff lightcone for acheron, has AoE on Basic Attack and sustains a little damage)
My secondary account has almost the same lineup but instead of Sparkle I used Tingyun and it was a smooth fight for me, Thankfully I built my Lynx and Tingyun with over 6k HP and my Acheron is kinda tanky with a 4.5k life and 1.5k def

I don’t think I’ll be able to get Luocha or Archeon since I used up my guaranteed right before the update, so I’ll have to keep throwing myself at it over and over again with what I have. Main strategy I’ve heard is to hoard AoE ults for characters without AoE skills and only use them for the dice, which is hard to do when you don’t have the energy to do them and it’s not guaranteed that you’ll get that ult back to deal the damage you need… What also sucks is that my DPS is Ratio and Aventurine resists Imaginary

@@xxreapxrxx267 hello! i just finished the boss fight recently. i recommend giving your healer 70% effect res (broken keel and perfect timing helps)! if you have ruan mei, use her since she gives all type res and break efficiency, though you could use fmc or any second sustainer for that matter. i used argenti though u could use any aoe dealers.

I feel like if they want to keep this gamble mechanic, there should be a debuff placed on HIM if he loses, and at least some sort of pause in between so it gives the player time to prepare for the gamble mechanic. Or have it so where there's a way you can possibly prevent him from starting it up, like breaking his shield or another spawn before he can do it.
Having it happen back to back, stunning you to only push you right back into it, it's just an unending loop that plans to wash out your team.

@imthebadguy2693 I haven’t beat it either (to be fair, I came out a little bit earlier than you during Argenti), but I’ve heard that for your supports, you need characters that have AoE ults. When the ults are ready, you save them for the dice and use them for that. Problem is with the energy drain though

the key is to not get the single target healer\cleanser cc'ed when they lose the gamble on phase 2

The problem is here is that in phase 2, your chara's survivability is determined by whether they have aoe/blast atk or not. And most healers and shielderd dont have it. Even if you bring all 4 sustainer units in phase 2, if you cant aoe, all of them will be attacked.
Its very stupid tbh. Why cant they just make it as accumulation of points instead ?
This boss is the epitome of unplayable, he has everything that stupid beetle has BUT TURNED ON TO 11, high resistance, a second phase that’s SO BULLSHIT!, Now I understand why we get so many jades bc the bosses are the paywall and if the leaked weekly boss has told me anything **ITS NOT CHANGING ANYTIME SOON.**

The reason why this boss is so fucking bad is that in this game you can't even use your actual gaming skill to defeat it. With these bosses and enemies, you just need to pay to roll good characters and their cones. I think that it is completely unfair, because I almost don't have strong characters simply because I don't like them and don't want to pull for them. As f2p who rolls only for characters I really like, this boss fight is freaking me out.

I really hate this fight. I've been sitting at this fight for over an hour, and the furthest I've gotten is 18% health left on the first phase. Since I am free to play, I also have a very limited access to characters, but I honestly find this fight so unfair, because there is often times where I just cannot do anything or no matter what I do, I die. The best characters I have are Nathasa, Herta, Hanya and Serval. That's my team for this fight. And I just keep on dying before even getting to the second phase. This battle feels like the game forces us to spend money on either Acheron or Luocha, which I find incredibly unfair. And I know this text is long, but I wanna complain
Update: I have been trying for around 6 more hours now witb Gepard in my Team instead of Hanya, but i still die in the second phase due to the dices appearing every 3 turns and always Rolls higher than a 6, resulting in me almost directly losing Natasha

Go for fire trailblazer, Serval, Asta and either Natasha or Bailu. 2nd phase use ur aoe ultimates only on the dice mechanic so you can actually hit them all. Your very likely to get the max bonus and refill your ultimate after.

Edit: Like even on characters that have multi hit, winning the gamble isnt guaranteed, which is kind of fitting because you are still rolling dice, but the fact that the supposed counter measure might jsut fuck you in the ass still, as it happened to me where my jingliu missed the dice 2x in a row and died while aventurine was on 4% hp, is isane
Step 1. All your characters must have multi hit( ult or skill)
Step 2. Save ult
Step 3. Wait for gamba
Step 4. Use every ult
Step 5. Win
Step 6. Save ult
Step 7. Rinse and repeat
He gives your ult back everytime you win so just save your ult only for the gamba

You can for instance hit 3 1s or 3 2s or any combination really that puts you below 9. and if your answer to that is that that is unreasonably unlikely, you also have to keep in mind, either you bring a sup with you which acts as a huge sp drain, or you dont but both cases increse the time spent fighting the boss because it decreases your dps. This makes it so that this scenario isnt just a statistically unlikely event, but a statistic inevitability.
Gallagher is only healer who has multi hit and then theres fu xuan which not everyone has (we need minimum 2 sustain)@@vergil2

Tip for the first phase if you have no good preservation : Preservation Trailblazer can taunt Aventurine, and his enhanced basic attack is good for the dice. Just make sure he has his stacks up.
Blade is insanely great for this fight because he can hit 3 dice at the same time, and his follow-up attack can be useful. He doesn't consume many skill points either.
When Aventurine has 6 or more points, I recommend to heal your low hp characters unless he has 6 and you want to risk it.
Using imaginary characters is pretty bad in this fight because of his imaginary resistance. And someone who wants skill points like Dan Heng can be pretty hard to manage unless you have high investment and maybe Sparkle.
And luck, of course. I had to retry a few times, but it was worth it either way.
So basically if he rolls a 6 or more I should just give up, noted :)

Hopefully this advice helps:
Use characters with proper elemental breaks so you can weakness break him easily.
I used Argenti, ruan mei, fire mc(is a must) and lynx.
Argenti 2nd skill and ultimate worked like wonder. Ruan mei's break effect made it way easier to break him more often.
(Don't use Dan heng IL unless you want to make your life harder)
This fight was almost impossible without a good sustain, fire mc targets multiple dice and helps with shields.
Any healer with faster ult regen and high healing is a must. You won't survive otherwise.
Use items to boost your attack and hp percentage(not required but should help you).
During 2nd phase make sure to fk em up asap by weakness breaking this is the only solution to his ult spam.
Take your time and you eventually beat it. Good luck 🤞

You have default tb for dps, nat/lynx for healing and march for shields, pela or asta can also be quite good since pela’s ult is aoe and charges really fast and asta has a bounce attack.
At his second stage, save your ults for pela and march. Usually your healer will lose the gamble, but march can cleanse and remove the cc.
And if you have one of the 5* destruction or erudition characters like Kafka, archeron, argenti, jingliu, Blade, DHIL, then it’s even easier to beat, since phys TB isnt that great at being a dps
I was excited to fight him, but when he killed one of my character not even half way into his first phase i realised this fight is gonna be hard af.

i started playing this game in late january and don't have many characters, and this boss is giving me hell. my only built dps is dr ratio and a half-assed built himeko, i'm saving for a guaranteed aventurine but i'm seriously considering going for acheron right now, just so i can beat this boss. honestly, i wish they had the option to use your friends' support characters in these things. i'd use my friend's jing yuan or jingliu and beat this boss in a heartbeat.
EDIT: okay, i beat him. i used my himeko, a pela i just got, march, and natasha. my himeko died, and i had to take down his hp 1% by 1% with pela, march, and nat. i always kept shields up on natasha and when he used his summons, i used pela's and march's ults to hit them all at once, and because nat couldn't, i had to keep march's shields up on her at all times. it took ages because my damage was very low, but i did it.

If anyone reading this needs some tips
-Beating Aventurine is about minimizing risk; his damage doesn't ramp up in the second phase so it's mostly about out sustaining him.
-Every character has to either
1. Have an AOE (blast is also good enough) in their kit or
2. Doesn't mind getting hit (Full &/or high HP, sustain character)
-Characters that are neither has to go so no buffers/debuffers. They make killing him faster but chances are if you need help you just need to out-sustain him (as said above.)
-Aventurine also has resistance to crowd control and imaginary damage, so no Welt. You are unlikely to disrupt his turn phase without high effect hit rate
-When Aventurine starts the dice rolling minigame, your characters will lose a blip of energy so they can't cast without attacking first, therefore for squishy characters:
you *need* to have a skill point for your AOE skill or have enough energy to cast your ultimate after your action
-If you do not have the above, you may have to put off dealing damage to make sure you do
Some examples
-Fire trailblazer cannot die and will generate you a skill point each turn
-Serval is good. Ultimate and skill means she won't get hit during dice phase
-Acheron cannot have her energy drained and has a burst skill
-Herta (and Argenti) are good, but the fight will take longer
-Jingliu is doesn't mind holding her ult make sure she has energy to hit the dice with it
Team
-Sustain, Fire MC, damage dealer with burst/AOE in their kit
-Do not use any other character if you are struggling. There are some caveats (idk if Asta/Pela can work) but this is otherwise the simple truth.
The point of this boss fight is minimizing risk (the boss is literally a gambler.) After that, the fight is slow and tedious but easy stat-check
If you are still struggling, use consumables, grind, or get good
the issue is my sustains can't sustain. lynxs healing isn't good enough and i have HORIID luck with ER ropes so i have literally none. lynx basically just gets clapped. and gepard well unless you get his ult up he CAN'T do his job(again no ER ROPE) im using clara instead of fire mc and dan heng since well...he's kinda my only built dps
@@aceknight6622 from my personal experience, lynx should work fine IF your other characters arent gonna lose their gambles. i would try to make it so lynx only has to heal herself, and maybe one other person every once in a while

2. I already beat it. I used march instead of Clara spammed her skill on lynx since ot was enough to protect her and used lynx to heal.march when needed. Marchs ult is an aoe and because winning the gamble gave her,her ult back she was able to.just spam it every gamble. March was literally my MVP
@@aceknight6622 i kind of get what you're tryna say, but i solo sustained with lynx along herta, black swan, and pela. the strategy was to make it so lynx can heal the amount of damage i take, because only lynx would take damage in a party where 3 out of 4 characters would win their gambles (aoe is goated). so in fact, only healing her is an option. either way, congrats on being able to complete the second act of the penacony story!

Here's how
Bailu - Fire MC - Lynx - Kafka
First round is an easy clear
Second round, Fire MC and Kafka will nearly always win the roulette due to their aoe hits so they'll be active for most of it, Bailu and Lynx won't, so during dice rounds, don't bother to use their attacks on the dice, just heal and prepare accordingly for the attacks he will do and make sure you heal enough to survive, also try to use fire MC ult in the middle of dice roll stage so you can give them some shield to help them tank the damage
Effect Res on Lynx is gonna remove the RNG aspect alot, since she won't get improsioned and can free bailu from prisonment,
The game plan is you gotta make sure the healers stay alive as much as possible, Kafka and Fire MC will be chilling they'll get occasionally healed as is and they'll be at full health most of the time
Final detail. You NEED good sustain builds, I needed like 5k-6k health and as much def on bailu and Lynx as you can, you basically need to make sure you can outheal whatever damage he puts on them and you'll win
Use your Kafka ult + skill outside of dice mode to do your damage, break his shield and chip away till the end
BONUS TIP: CONSUMABLES AND SKILLS WORK, USE THEM BEFORE INTERACTING WITH MARCH!!

@@joshushushu serval, March, Nat, and Stelle (preservation) will do.
Take HP-boosting consumables (I recommend the Floatdisc Burger from Penacony) and fill your energy up to max before the fight.
Save up all your ults for the gamble phase. If I’m not mistaken, the boss’s pattern is single target attack, AoE, Points Fountain (which drains some energy), then Gamble.
When the boss uses Points Fountain (drains around 10 energy I believe) refill your energy during your turn using any action (Basic/Skill).
Use Stelle’s taunt to make sure she gets targeted by the Gamble. Since her ult is AoE, use her ult to win during Phase 1. If Nat gets targeted, have her use her skill on March, then use March to shield Nat. The “Look, Don’t Speak” special debuff during this Phase is actually removable (I tested it with Lynx and then abused it when she gets targeted by the gamble).
Only use your ults during Gamble. Except for Nat, your other characters should have AoE ultimates. Try to protect Nat this turn because she will lose the gamble due to being an Abundance unit lacking in AoE damage.
Phase 1 has 3 dice you must hit, while Phase 2 has 4. The boss only scores 6-9, while you can hit anywhere between 1-6 per dice.
I used Fu Xuan, Pela, and Lynx since I had them during the battle, and it helped me clear the battle in one try.

The main quest bosses in hsr are so hard for some reason lately. I had to bring 2 abundance and 2 preservations for Sam and just spam black swan's debuff, that was the only source of damage. I don't care if you make a weekly boss batshit crazy hard, but when i play the main quest, i wanna enjoy it. Keep the challenge for another time

Currently also trying to get S1(Light cone) is my last shine of hope to actually burning him down fast enough before he Dice‘s my team to perma stun. I tried multiple teams 3x sustain pure Dot etc all failed the moment 4 dice‘s appear it’s so sad. Never rly had a bad experience during my HSR time, besides being the unluckiest Banner roller ever. update: after hours of experimenting with my f2p heroes, I managed to defeat him with:
gallagher - march - serval - natasha (yes all 4 star only)
march and serval were mostly the ones who deal with the damage and gambling while gallagher and nat for hp and skill points. I was very cautious in spending skill pts for serval's skill in the gambling parts as well as hp so I mostly had march just putting shields on nat who can't really hit more than 1.
one of the strat I used is making sure march and gallagher's ult
are close to activating so when it comes to the gambling, use basic or skill (depending on how close the ult) then I just press LT at the right time so I can use it to hit more dice. it's gonna fully regenerate anyway when you win the gamble so use it immediately after.
key thing to this boss is a lot of patience and girl power ❄️💪

For anyone needing help this is what I used
Fire trailblazer, march, natasha and dr ratio and finished him first try, you wanna focus on defense and let march slowly damage him. Trailblazer you wanna spam his shield on the characters unless the boss is opened to attacks (once his shield is gone), march you wanna defend natasha then herself then trailblazer then ratio, natasha just slowly heals everyone and dr ratio just his basic attack. It took about an hour to complete it since it takes time but just focus on defending the characters from the attacks and healing them with natasha, when the boss hits a character march will instantly hit him back and that's how you slowly damage him and win. His domain expansion is very annoying but every time you get the opportunity use natasha to heal everyone. Patience is key if you're f2p and barely any characters like me, these were all free and obtained throughout the story. Hope this helps :)
Even with this so-called "nerf", this boss is highly unfair, especially phase 2!
You must be joking. 3 sustains to defeat this boss? I have been trying for hours to defeat him and I know I am not the only one.
Edit: Finally defeated him with E0S0 Acheron and double sustain with Lynx and Gallagher. Sustains are the key! Surviving the fight is the hardest part. Also the atk reduction that Gallagher gives is amazing.

I honestly realized that stalling the fight out is probably the optimal strat. I'm gonna write my experience with it for the F2P (even though I'm kinda cheating since I had Clara and Huohuo. Not much should change though.), maybe it'll also help out others.
I brought phys TB for damage, March, Clara (mostly for SP regen but also to help break with FUA) and Huohuo. I dont know how well Natasha's/Lynx's healing (I think theyre both given for free) could keep up but the ulting every opportunity should work really well, based on ehat I've seen.
I should note this now, since I tried this fight a dozen times and learned this the hard way: SP are needed for the phase 2 dice rolls, so save your AOE ults (yes, you NEED AOE characters for this fight, the more the better) and skills for there, just in case your skill points run out. We're playing for survival, not flashiness ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Phase one honestly isn't that bad since only one character is targeted by the gamble attack. You can use March shield on herself and I found it works really well to draw his attack. If it doesnt work, that's where your heals are needed. Hinestly dont need to manage SP too much here, but definitely always have at least one, just in case.
Now phase 2 is where the hell starts. Don't use your ults or skills unless you have to... Save them for the dice, so you can conserve SP and have a backup if you accidentally run out. If you go with an 'optimal' team, all characters except your healer should have an AOE that only needs one SP (unless you have Luocha). This is going to be an entirely luck-based strategy, because it can very easily fall apart. BUT.
Save as much SP as you can for the dice.
If you havent ulted prior to the gambling move and your energy was already full, a normal or skill will be enough to get you up to the ult if you need it. (Not that you'll be using it for anything but the dice anyway). It's because kf this that I recommend saving an SP for March and whichever healer you brought along. March's shield (at least for my defensive build) should be enough to let the healer tank the full force of the coins.
Provided no one else got hit by that attack, it should be manageable. The healer can cycle healing characters as needed. If you dont get unlucky... You can stall out the fight with only normals and a ridiculous number of heals.

Oh yeah, i almost forgot! Build your characters for HP/DEF, BE instead of damage. You'll need enough to survive the gamble attack and the attack immediately following, especially for March and your healer. The occasional times you break Aventurine should be where the bulk of your damage comes from.

He's so tanky and dishes out so much damage that shields literally can't keep up for your DPS characters...
Not to mention he uses the gamble attack every other turn. You'd probably run out of SP spamming it every turn.
Hopefully Hoyoverse turns the difficulty way down and lowers his speed or something.

Future Me here! Am rly close to defeating him Right now got him half HP on second phase with Clara lvl 60, Pela Lvl 70, Acheron Lvl 80, and Natasha lvl 60. Right now am lvl them up and after that am 100% that i get him next time
If you haven’t beat him yet I ran a similar team and finally beat him
For pela never use her ult until the dice game.
Use her basic attack every turn for energy and debuffs
For Natasha/lynx have them use their skill on themselves only, every turn so they don’t die to the dice and heal the team with ultimates.
Clara and Acheron can keep themselves safe with the AOE unless you unfortunately roll crazy low even with aoe

finally beat the boss ... it took me an hourrr. I use Gepard, march (MVP), physical MC, Natasha. Keep march ult and shield ready all the time, she is the most useful as her ult will definitely save her from phase two and her shield can dispel Natasha for heal. T.T tough sheeets.. not easy as a f2p and the boss is lvl83
this team can work but the worst part here is, in his second face he's just gonna spam that stupid move that's absolutly busted. Other than that he's a really fun boss, if it wasn't for the second face. I wanted a hard boss fight, but I do not want a dark souls like boss fight if dark souls was a turn base.
lol, even i feel dark souls boss is still beatable with low equipment, but this boss just stupid, my danheng IL with sparkle literally do no damage
@@makoryu I mean he is resisted to imaginary damage by like.. 150%? Rule of thumb: if the playable character is a certain element, don't bring that element to their boss fight. They tend to be resisted to it absurdly so.

I have Acheron, it’s not better even by a bit to have a high dealing damager. The moment 4 Dice appear teammates are bound to die. And then it snowballs. Fight was set up to fail basically
@@shiro12okami69 yes, i have acheron too, it suprised me that her damage was reduced to 10k, normally it's 70k, the boss was really tanky. But finally i defeated him, since acheron's ult is not affected by the dice, and having 3 sustainers
@@shiro12okami69 If your teamates have a 4k below lifespan then they are truly bound to die no matter what you do, thankfully I built my characters with above 4k HP and my lynx is cracked with 7k HP and she always survive Aventurine's hits partially thanks to Fire MCs sustain

I'm so extremely glad I have both Luocha and Argenti, I wouldn't have been able to cheese the boss without them.
Is Luocha good for this fight? I know Aventurine has a high imaginary resistance and I've just got Luocha. I have Argenti and Gepard too, and I keep dying orz
luocha can always win the gamble with his aoe ultimate, so he never dies and can cleanse the rest and gets the ult fully recharged to boot

This is the most infuriating boss in the game so far..
ive just finished the boss fight and i have to say this is the worst one in the game. my two best built dps are seele and il dan heng, both of them are borderline useless in this bossfight. i was lucky enough to get acheron but even with her i struggled. tip i recommend using is in the second phase hold onto your aoe ultimates for the gambling part so you can gurantee most of your team will be able to act. i know it already got nerfed but i believe this is actually unbeatable to any new players

Just use aoe, and bring two sustain, DOT is really strong against him, if you’re using a harmony or nihility make sure their skill or ult does aoe so asta or pela.

I used Natasha, march, normal mc with the bat and serval
Use march to tank his bs aoe attacks and save her ult to spin all the dice and you will win 99% of the time. Mc and serval can win most of the time too unless you get unlucky and run out of skill points or bad rolls. As for nat one of march's skills you can level up will get rid of debuffs and it helps a ton
Basically name of the game is to wait him out and tank his hits with the shields and use mc and serval ult to break him and do damage
I'm a new player using F2P characters. My Equilibrium level is 3, and my TB level is 50. I managed to defeat Aventurine on my first try.
I used Serval Lv 60, Physical TB Lv 60, March 7th Lv 60 (Preservation), and Natasha Lv 60.
It's crucial to level up traces and relics, as they make a significant difference. Aim for 5-star/gold relics and use the appropriate ones (the best builds for the four characters you’re using). If you're unsure, you can find guides on Google or RUclips.
There are two phases to defeating Aventurine. In Phase 1, I attacked Aventurine with my two DPS (Serval, TB). When faced with gambling, I used their AoE abilities. For March 7th, I focused on defending Serval, TB, and Natasha. Similarly, I focused Natasha on healing the DPS characters.
In Phase 2, I used AoE DPS and each character's Ultimate, except for Natasha, as she relies heavily on March 7th's shield. In both phases, to protect March, I always used her Ultimate when faced with Aventurine's gambling. Using March's basic attack doesn't score high points, so I always opt for her Ultimate.
(p.s: I deliberately didn't raise my Equilibrium to 4 because if my characters aren't well-built, farming will be difficult as enemy levels will also rise.)

A tip of advice for everyone: a HEALER and SHIELDER are a NECESSITY!! Literally tried so many team comps and the thing that help the most was a shield and being able to heal. Your main dps should preferably be able to attack more than one target so you can hit more dice, and for that last slot should preferably be another healer or if you can make it work another shielder or multi target dps character. Your team also NEEDS to be built to the best of your abilities.
My team was: Dan heng(IL), Gepard, Natasha, and HuoHuo

Using my team I was able to beat ‘em. It just takes some strategy and time! ;-;

I used Dan heng(IL) for multi target dps, Gepard for shield, Natasha for healing, and HuoHuo for multi character healing and support.
I’m mostly f2p (saying this cause I’ve spent a max of 3-5 bucks on hsr) so I know you don’t gotta whale to be able to beat this and can probably do it with only 4* characters and definitely can with standard banner characters! Just gonna take some trial and error to see what works.

I brought Kafka, BS, Fire MC and Jingyuan with no thought at the start not expecting a boss fight. But except for Fire MC they died, and Fire MC wouldn't die. So I retried and brought Kafka, Clara, Fire MC and Luocha (surely none will die). So I beat him though it took long.
Tf is this fight my jingliu with decent artifacts and max traces deals fucking 4% in her enchanced form. Power creep in this game is ridiculous
Update: it took a total of 3 hours of trying and a whole ass newly built character to beat it but even with shitty artifacts gallagher was my savior
OK I THINK I CRACK THE CODE, I use two healers, shield trailblazer and a dps with area attack (jingliu in my case), the two healers (I use Natasha and lynx) can't usually survive second phase gambling + his other attacks, so I use the trailblazer ability to reduce the damage, I think is important to use the dps and the trailblazer to win the gambling (the trailblazer attacks 3 of the dices so it usually gets more than 9 points), and then use the trailblazer shield as much as I cant, try to use all the heals you have available and keep the healers at full life.
Do you pass the boss? If you pass i might try this one...

worse part about this boss is im already spending an ungodly amount of resources on single characters just to get their damage up. only then i realized, this boss is actually just impossible. now they delete enemies that is not adventurine but still struggle at adventurine. nice.

Edit: I was running a preservation and a abundance but I'd advice again that that and use 3 sustains and ur best built DPS preferably one that can hit multiple targets cause those dice are a problem and the more heat off ur DPS the better. I cleared now so definitely worked

Most newer players don't have that and most of us aren't whales so our DPSs aren't strong enough to beat him in 3 turns of the second phase of the match. Honestly the key to beating this boss is to have units which have at least SOME kind of aoe (ults). Just save the ults for the gambles, try to keep an auto sustainer running and somebody who can actually deal decent damage without the ult (or with the ult if the skill is aoe ex:acheron) It took me a million tries to figure out gallagher couldnt save everyone on time and that firefly weakness team is useless due to the EXTREMELY short intervals of hit time. I had to build my completely unbuilt pela,gui and acheron to finally beat this shit with luocha as the auto sustainer immortal... pela survived with her ult (her basic still applies defense break so is op), gui skill is aoe, acheron skill is aoe and luocha ult is useless so can be used for dice part.
Didnt really notice the pre-nerf difficulty... and i was playing with the astral express crew who were canonically there because i thought it was fun. Was a little challenging but the AoE helped me avoid all of his hard hitting attacks plus the two preservation characters.
A month later and I still can't beat this boss. I don't have any characters that provide shields, so it is impossible for me to pass the second phase. I've tried Kafka, Argenti, Ratio, IL, etc and it's impossible. I gave up, I don't know what to do...
hi there! you really only need a healer and aoe dps to clear this, but i understand its tricky. shielders are better but healers are enough to get through this boss (personally, i used only luocha and he clutched so hard)
kafka + [healer of your choice] + argenti (or even DHIL, i used him and won) + [buffer of your choice or another healer if you want to play it safe]
^ this was a similar team comp i suggested to one of my friends who was struggling and they managed to clear it!
- you need to save your healers skills/ults until the gambling phase and if your healers cant hit enough points you need to immediately hit the heal before he hits so they can tank it. you should use a hp scaling healer that can cleanse too, (natasha, lynx) so you can almost guarantee they can tank it. argenti and kafka are both aoe, they should remain out of that phase completely unscathed, so use them to hit when aventurine is down. if you do end up using natasha and lynx, you might want to just slap them will ALL hp stats. they'll be tanky and do a lot of healing that way.

I've played this fight for the past hour, like why is he so hard to beat
I finally beat this goofball after a few days of thinking about deleting this game.
During phase one, it wasn’t that hard but once I got into phase two, it was a whole nightmare. Please make sure you pay attention to your skill points, so you can do more damage to the dices and win the gamble. For my team, I used Pela, Natasha, Fire MC, and Kafka which are all level 70 (including light cones as well). Even though during the last phase, Pela died I was able to finish off the boss with Fire MC mainly defending and blasting at the dices, Kafka doing the most damage to the Boss and using Natasha’s ultimate consistently. Also, make sure your traces are well put together, especially your relics, and try to make your team eat and drink some consumables before the battle.

Im loosing my mind 😭 I tried with Acheron, Bailu, Luocha and march (I still can’t do it) I swear I was on second phase, 30% left, after 15 minutes of the fight I thought that I finally might do it but it one shoted my Acheron and I had to quit 😭

there is a strat to cheese it with but your gonna need to build up clara, gepie, trailblazer (phy), and any healer
on the first phase you can just do a normal rotation of trying to break his weakness bar with clara and trailblazer and gepie is there to tank and aggro for everytime he does the annoying gamble thingy
and for the second phase try to save up sp for both clara and trailblazer as they will always almost guaranteed to hit over 9+ points (in the bs per turn stun from the gamble bs) as for gepie i also recommend getting a energy rope for at least faster ult up time and as for the healer i do recommend bring someone like lnyx as she has a talent to resist debuff by 35% and build her for effect resist as 40+% is enough and pray for rng jesus that the agrro for both gepie and clara is enough to stall the whole fight

Don't rush equilibrum
i beat him with kafka, clara, bailu, and gallagher, all level 60 with level 60 light cones and mostly leveled relics. keep gallagher’s ult ready for the gamble, and during phase 2 gamble use everyone’s skill and gallagher’s ult leaving only bailu losing the gamble. then you can use gallagher’s skill on her to free her from imprisonment and restore health, and repeat until you’ve won :D also stick to basic attacks so you have enough skill points for the gamble especially in phase 2, and use everyone’s ult (except gallagher since you’ll need his ult for the next gamble) right after winning the gamble. good luck ^^

I have trailblazer, lynx, sparkle and acheron. Because of this team, i do basically no damage, but i can kinda tank the hits. However, when this motherfucker hits 9 i can just accept my fate and lose anyway, good stuff hoyo thanks a lot
I almost used the same team as you!! Only thing is I used E6 Misha instead of Acheron. And it's true; this team can tank and save from aventurine, but does low damage and needs quite a lot of patience.
@@Lavender455 So, i feel like i might have a good answer now. I tried Clara and she actually works WONDERS here. She tanks pretty well, dishes out good damage, breaks, doesn't need skill points and even counter attacks for more break. However, when it comes to healing, I see thats where the problem lives. Lynx cannot handle the second phase because of the lack of AoE. I've been theorycrafting and i feel like maybe I should upgrade Gallagher or wait for aventurine to drop.
My best idea of a team now has been:
Acheron (great dps and has AoE + can break aventurine)
Gallagher (great healer and has AoE)
Clara (sub dps, has AoE + counters + can break aventurine)
Fire Trailblazer (great tank, holds Debuff lightcone for acheron, has AoE on Basic Attack and sustains a little damage)
My secondary account has almost the same lineup but instead of Sparkle I used Tingyun and it was a smooth fight for me, Thankfully I built my Lynx and Tingyun with over 6k HP and my Acheron is kinda tanky with a 4.5k life and 1.5k def
