In verse 19 Jesus said : only God is good. Then in verse 22 Jesus said follow me at the end of the verse.
Why Jesus said that? Because in verse 27 Jesus said what is impossible for man is possible for God.
Only God can make anything impossible be possible and that’s Jesus, this is the reason why he said follow me.
Jesus responded in a Rehtorical question/statement you do understand?
