Brought this thing for my mom...she never used it lol. Soooo today I'm going to be the tester. She didn't want all her food dried out. I tried to inform her it's part pressure cooker. And u can control the crispy crisp lol. So I am the designated test cooker bc ribs r my specialty 😊 will come back and edit with what she thought about it
Oh my goodness I finally figured out how to quick release mine to get it to count down I have had this ninja foodi for probably one year it took me that long to figure out how to quick release and to get it to count down yes yes yes lol 😆
Thank you for your message, Jessica! We're so happy to hear that you were able to learn how to quick release, and thank you for letting us know about this. Have a lovely day!
My Ninja TenderCrisp takes like 10 minutes to preheat.. Did you count that in your 20 minutes pressure cook? Looks like you just said you’ll be back in 19 minutes.. Thanks!!
Thanks for your comment Sean, please note that if your Ninja Tender Crisp shows “PRE” on the screen, it means the unit is preheating and is coming to pressure. Time to pressure will vary greatly, depending on the temperature and quantity of food added to the pot. Time to pressure may take up to 45 minutes for large and/or cold food loads.
@@NinjaKitchenUS thanks for the reply. I understand that part but isn’t it cooking part of this PRE time.. it’s not like i can put the food in after the PRE on pressure setting correct? It’s fine i guess, for BBQ at least.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to quick release I can't get it to count down like I see in all these videos every time I push the pressure button and set the time and heat I push start/stop and like a couple minutes later my little red button thing keeps popping up Everytime it makes me so mad lol please help I've watched videos I can't figure it out
Hi Jessica - I learned from other recipes that by turning off your Ninja Foodi and waiting for it to cool down on its own will also pressure release on its own. Just make sure that the metal button next to the pressure release goes down completely before you turn to open the lid. I don’t like using the pressure release valve because the steam goes straight up to my ceiling as well as steam getting all over my ninja foodi and counter. Hope this helps you.
Turn it on as described, push the ‘pressure’ button, set time, push start. It takes awhile to build the pressure, once it’s high enough, the lid locks, and the count down time begins. When it reaches the set time, it begins to count back up as the pressure naturally releases. The same type process for the air fry and other functions. If you watch better instructional vids you’d be doing yourself a favor. This is not the best video for a beginner. I’m experimenting with the ninja version today, I’ve been using the instant pot since they first came out. This channel MIGHT be worthwhile, but compared to many IP related channels this is not very good.
She didn’t state any of that information. She just gets paid by ninja and she does minimal prep work and clocks out at the same time whether the jobs done or not I’m thinking. 😢

way too dry for me and really not that tender compared to methods in the Ninja that I have done. Slow-release at 19 minutes might have worked better or pressure for 3- minutes with a quick release like you did.
Just followed this recipe and the ribs came out great!!!!!
We're happy to hear your meal came out perfect! Thank you for sharing your experience with us! 😀
These turned out delicious!
Absolutely LOVE this recipe. I've done it multiple times
That's awesome, Mario! Thank you for sharing the love!

I wish you guys had more recipes for the instant cooker

Hey, great recipe! One question do you use just beer?
Thanks!
Hello! Thank you for your interest in the recipe being shown. Only bear is used inside the cooking pot for your liquid.
Thank you 😊
Looked at a few videos, and think I will try this one tonight. Maybe next time add the ingredients and amounts in your description.
How did the ribs turn out?

Can I use a different liquid other than beer? I’ve seen recipes where they use soda or water
Hey, @juliekov. The recipe is included in the video. You can also use your choice of water however the taste may differ.
Do I have to add the sauce when switching to air fryer? Will it still get that bark?
Hey, Del! Yes, you can add the sauce when switching functions, and still get the perfect result!
why didnt you show taking the piece to eat off the ribs to show if it was tender or not. now im questioning your recipe.
Can you add the ingredients you used in your description please? Looks delicious!

The Pre Time is not part of the cooking time. The pre time is to build pressure. Once you have started to pre time, you cannot stop it to add food.
What can I use instead of beer
Hey there! When pressure-cooking you can use different liquid in the pot. Such as water, stock, or broth of your choice.
I made beef chili & corn bread casserole and it said cornbread batter on page 61 but mine goes up to 45 and my model number is os300
Hey there. Can you please confirm if you're using an online recipe booklet, or the booklet that came with your unit?
@@NinjaKitchenUS the one that came with the unit

Can you just just tell me the ingredients to the cornbread batter?
Then why is it in my book?

Why beer and not just plain water please? Thanks x
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question, Aimee! Using beer instead of water to St. Louis ribs adds more juicy flavour!
@@NinjaKitchenUS thanks! Tried your recipe with just water, as no beer at home. So tasty ! Its like TGI fridays ribs! Thanks!
We're so happy you loved it, Aimee!
How much liquid did you use

You just gonna leave the sinew on or…? 🤷🏻♂️
But it take so long to get to pressure then cooking time. Every time I make beans it takes more then 20 min to come to pressure then 35 min to cook 😩🙄

Shouldn’t take 35mins the cook beans. You can cook chicken breasts in like 6 minutes under pressure.
Preheat the foodi before starting the pressure cooking process
