Does the Paul’s stroke loose his blade at 1:42. Makes their composure even more impressive

Nah that was my fault. We brushed the booms. Phil doesn’t catch crabs.

@@rahulmarchand2938 I think you did a great job of coxing that. You timed the efforts very well, and you clearly knew your crew's back end speed. One question: when you moved towards the middle of the course just before Remenham, was that deliberate to put the pressure on BBC by letting them know you were right by them, and to show your crew you were in close contact?

Good race, Brisbane Boys can be proud of their effort. Did well to get to the QFs a long way from home. St Pauls look the favorites now surely?

Cant fault great Race strategy from SPS even with a few issues. Thought BBC could have won today - but....Aussie crews are a little naive when they run in this regatta - watch Scotch winning a few years ago..solid start which just needs you to be there or there abouts then sit on a rock solid rythm and match the crew - It really is a case of match racing at its finest

I think the previous experience of SPS kept them in the race. BBC are a good crew, but not used to match racing as I dont think we have anything like that here.
