I love the new format you are trying out. I like that you show where you are going to get your items, giving ideas and then showing how you fix them up and displaying the end result. I wish I lived where you do though because my habitat restore just has expensive junk. I appreciate the hard work you do. I get so many ideas from you and sometimes I just plain copy 😁

I still go to thrift stores for clothing. But in my area 92691 the goodwill is overpriced. Sad

I really like the tips. I get overwhelmed a lot of times going into the thrift store because there is so much potential! I either end up buying way too much or nothing at all.

I have a great eye for something that can be repurposed and have done many, but so many people can’t see the potential in something and only see junk or nothing more than what it is. You serve a great purpose by picking up something and showing what it can be repurposed for and some ideas of how to style it.......even if you don’t personally buy it. Keep doing that!

Love your vlogs and really love how detailed you are, very easy to follow. Just a suggestion but I believe I’ve seen other DIYers just pop the clock out of the wood part and paint it and then pop it back in. Look forward to seeing how you use all the fun stuff you got today! God Bless.

Hi Liz! I do like when you share about what you are looking for and explain what you can use items for at a thrift store. I like to see trash to treasure, or upcycling videos more than DT product projects. It’s fun to make DT projects, but nothing beats finding a cool piece at a Thrift store and being able to give it new life! The Thrift store profits from the sale, and it keeps stuff from landfills and gives it life again. DT projects put money right into a big corporations pockets. 🤗

Liz, I go to my local thrift store every Sunday morning.! I am at the point where I pick up too much stuff (linens and things) that I forget that I have them. I like the way you decide almost immediately where the item is going to go or give it a function. I find that I am going to clean out first and then look in the thrift store. My main bathroom is getting redone this week and I am so excited. I am a shabby chic person and I mainly look for the shabby chic items. I found two shabby chic balloon curtains that I love from this Thrift store and many many other items. Thanks for sharing this great idea to show us your outline which I will be doing before the contractors get started......the outline you provided to us on your rehab room is a lifesaver and money saver for me. TFS I would love to see more videos on what you are doing and fixing. All the best, Donna

Love the tips...if when shopping its too much to look at only do glassware..only do brass only do shirts pick a certain thing when going in & look at maybe color of the day sales that helps alot...like making the list...if you like something put it in cart give it a ride..then decide later

I love to shop at thrift stores. My family been shopping at thrift stores for over thirty years and find brand new items and brand name clothes. Now I got my 28 year old old daughter shopping there sense I told her I been buying her clothes, toys, and decorations there sense she was a baby. I see that you have raste.

Love going thrifting with you, and you’re thought’s on them. That first jar you showed is beautiful. You could probably make a desert like tiramisu, or something like that. I don’t know, you’re the expert. The other jar is also very unique.. Oh, love that picture you also got. Great finds.👍🏻❤️🥰

YES YES YES....LOVE that u explained to us SO many possibilities & not just a thrift haul. I would have passed on the clock...but then u said u could paint it ____now I want one! Saw a really ugly floral display the other day....but it had tons of greens in it. Now I'm going back to take a 2nd look. I see so many hanging baskets i pass on ___then when u said paint it white.....going to hang one near door put loose winter gloves in. I like picking up small frames, buying a wall decal at $1 store, take pic out, reverse it to white, then put decal in/on it or print a non copyrighted picture/farmhouse sketch off the internet. I bet u have thousands of ideas!

Two great minds think alike. I did this Saturday before hitting the thrift store. I got beautiful throws, baskets, candle holders, pillows, large unique frames, etc. People were looking at my cart and verbalizing how awesome my stuff looked, yup thrift like a designer. I really enjoy the videos of going thrifting especially as I get to be very envious of the fabulous thrift shops you have there ha. Most of our thrift/charity shops are normally quite small so don't always stock lots of different things. It's great the tips you give too and although I go out with good intentions of buying what I need I normally come back with lots more 😊. Really loving your channel xx

I just don’t have that eye for things like you do, and i really want to learn. I’m so glad that you did this video and then asked our opinion. I hope you get enough people like myself so that you will continue teaching us how to do all of that. I did know the tree and the glass were great finds. I love this video where you go thrusting, with giving tips as you go. You have so many amazing idea's. I love thrusting as well. My home is filled with thrift store treasures. I seldom pay full price for anything. I just wish we had the same kind if thrift stores here like you have. Especially for big items like furniture.
