Wow! This seems like a pretty amazing platform. Thank you for taking the time to give us so many alternatives to Jamboard with enough time to play around and learn them before Jamboard goes away forever. This seems extremely user friendly! I have already shared this video out with my teachers friends! Can’t wait to see next week’s video! Have a great week!
Aww, you’re so very welcome Valérie! I’m happy you enjoyed this one and found it helpful… especially while there’s still time to explore all the tools and choose one to stick with before Google Jamboard retires at the end of the year 🥰 I hope you have a great week ahead! 🖤
Thank you! This was really useful. The Jamboard importer is working now and while there were a few bugs, it worked better than the one at Figjam for my classroom boards, so I'm pleased.
I've been using Figjam for the past week with 3rd graders. It hasn't been the easiest change. However, we are trying! Looking at this option, I like that you can toggle some of the 'extras' on and off. I also like the frame present option as I have discovered that the infinite whiteboard is a distraction and hard to navigate for young kiddos. Thanks for checking out these alternatives. ❤
Hi Erin! I’m so happy you’ve been using FigJam! Yes, an infinite canvas can definitely be hard to navigate… I’m actually going to be leading some sessions in the Teaching Theater at the FigJam booth at ISTE in June about organizing an infinite canvas because you’re not alone in that!
Hello, Michelle! How have you been? I enjoy hearing about new tech tools to have in my teacher toolbox, and your tutorials never disappoint. I am always impressed by how clearly you explain each step and function of the program. As a side note, I laughed out loud at the clip of Andy talking about the trivia teams...one of my favorite episodes! Finally, I wanted to give kudos to you and Bridget for the latest Teaching to the TOP podcast with the Recess Digress. These have been some of my favorite episodes. Keep on being awesome and enjoy your week ahead! 💜
Hi Mandy and happy Monday! I’ve been great and hope the same is true for you as well 🥰🖤 I’m so happy you enjoyed this video and are loving the podcast too… we truly looking forward to recording the recess digress episodes so we appreciate the positive feedback that you enjoy them as well 🎉 I hope you have a great week ahead!
Weird question… I’m looking for an app that I could display on my Smartboard, but control from around the room on my iPad. Do you know if this would work with that?🤩
It’s not as simple as Jamboard but Jamboard was extremely limited with its capabilities. Your students will intuitively learn as they are exposed to the new tool… trust me! You just have to be willing to play around with it and learn yourself first 🥰
To share the board out to students and get them to work om collaboratively do they need a miro account too? I am teaching awimming teachers and we do a lot of theory online. Looking for a too that I can either share the board in google classroom or via chat on zoom. Thanks

I’ve been using this for about 5 months for now!! It’s the best!!
Aww, I’m so happy to hear that you’re loving it so far! 🥰

I dont think I have ever noticed before but your arms are jacked! way to go
Can you see different version histories? Is there a way to track which kids have contributed to the board ?

Do you use on the iPad?
Thank you for sharing Michelle
Thanks for watching Harrison!
Hi Michelle, just FYI, there's no voice at the end of the video, just background music.
Hi there! Yes, unfortunately RUclips flagged the music so I had to replace it which also removed my voice… very annoying!
Will these transfer to another account if we ever change districts?
You’d have to reach out to Miro to confirm but I know I saw features where you should switch boards to another account 👍🏼
Too many features!!!! Why not simple as jamboard???? How do I tell my students "go to????"
