Their after shave balm is fantastic. I also have the buffalo trace soap and I love it. It's about time someone started making things for grown men again. Thanks Duke Cannon.
The Buffalo Trace scent smells to me like a scent a cowboy might wear, or something your granddad might have worn when you were a kid. It's a very manly scent. I enjoy it.
Great review. I have Dukes. Oak Barrel, Old Glory, Bay Rum and Midnight Swim solid colonges. They all have unique scents. The key is to layer it with the same body wash. It helps the scent to project longer. I would say Old Glory is my favorite...followed by Oak Barrel.
I think the sweet smell you are trying to identify is are some of the hints you get when tasting bourbon. Some of these typically include caramel, crème brûlée, vanilla, leather. I use Duke cannon Buffalo Trace bar soap, beard shampoo, beard oil, and beard balm. I love them. I was on the fence on getting this solid cologne. You sold me on it. Thanks
Thanks for the detailed description, I like the way you talk about scents. Let us know if you get the Bay Rum solid cologne. I’m interested in the solid colognes because I’m allergic to the alcohol in normal colognes. I’m normally a quality bar soap guy but have sorta branched out here
Thanks. I'll definitely let you know. I think I mentioned I have the body wash Bay Rum, and I really enjoy it. I'm sure i'll pick up the solid cologne at some point.
@@eastriverg3595 yeah, I have the Bay Rum bar soap, not your typical Bay Rum scent but I really like it. Super tropical. Kinda wanna try the Midnight Swim cologne as I like that soap too
I didn't care for the Buffalo Trace, it's my least favorite. I have around ten of the different DC solid colognes, most of them are great. Light Musk, being my favorite. Thanks for your review, well done.
How dont you think the soap has funny little stories lol. Like the buffalo trace soap that story is comical. IMO. I like the products regardless. Stay safe.
I think they're funny, I like the cheeky stories; I think I was referring more to how it's hard for me to see past marketing for what it is. I do like the products too. I have a couple body washes and a deodorant and they're great. Thanks, and I'm glad you enjoyed! Stay safe, too.
Bro rambled on for quite a bit there but I guess it’s a half decent review. A bit wordy for what was talked about tho, would advise trying to be more concise with explanations unless you’re adding In other Useful content like a comparisons to another product like dr squach or dapper or whatever

You need a John wick suit on you'll go viral.

Thanks for watching! I'm wearing this solid cologne today.
Smells exactly like the soap. If you like the soap but find the scent dissipates, the cologne is great to augment the smell
Thank you, was hoping someone would say so. I’m in love with the soap, and you just sold me on the solid cologne lol

fantastic video, I'm sold because of you
Thank you for watching.

The Bay Rum is amazing, I love it and I am very very picky with colognes
Have you tried the cedarwood or redwood? I’d love to hear your review on that.
Thought this was crit1kal in the thumbnail
Haha I get that a lot.

Thanks for watching. I'll have to try light musk. I also want to try Bay Rum; I really like the body wash.
@@eastriverg3595 I recently got the Bay Rum, it's a different bay rum than what I'm used to. I do like it, because after a few hours, it gets musky.
@@bigd1345 Yeah, I agree. It's more tropical fruit smelling at the top than I'm used to, but I kind of like it. It's a nice one.

Thank you for your comment. I prefer to ramble-it feels more natural to me, but thanks for watching, nonetheless!
