12:45 what's so funny about suk jin correcting them about the person who is supposed to leave running man is that he (and all the members) really was ready to leave if they were going to kick ji hyo and jong kook out. he's so good at making gags but he's so loyal to his members.
I love Jong Kook's ep! So funny. A guest in Runningman once mentioned how funny Jee Seok Jin really is in real life and it's too bad most of his scenes were edited out from the final cut.

It's a good thing we can laugh at it now. But I still remember the emotions I felt when I first read that article. Running Man is more than a show for me. That move by the SBS Variety Head is just plain ignorant. The backlash they got from general public is one thing, but the hate they got from international fans is appalling.

whats controversy between kang ho dong and kim jong kook ?
From what I remember ,there was a pretty big issue about that a few years ago. Jong Kook and Ji Hyo were “removed” from the RM cast without them knowing about it, the PD in charge back then just made the decision on their own . Amidst that , there were rumors about Hodong replacing the “kicked out” members, this was never officially confirmed but there may be some truth about it since JK brought it up. The reaction of the public was negative to it and it was even officially announced that RM was going to end. Obviously , that did not happen since the members wanted the show to continue for longer. The PD who caused that controversy left the show , some new cast members were introduced instead of removing the original cast , and the rest is history.

@@kazu9366 it's not the PD. But the head of variety show departement. Public reaction isnt bad at first. Because when the news broke out. The article written as if KJK and SJH resign from the show to focus at their own career. Turns out it was all lie. Even Jihyo found out that thru' the news. They got fired out of nowhere. Public turns sour. And started to attack SBS online. Head of VS dep had to apologize personally to KJK and SJH (as he should) because SBS'share also started to crumble

It's just a trending topic between netizen and they decided to turn that into something funny. As far as I know, Kang Hodong once was also titled as Nation's MC, but then YJS name got bigger and then with the scandal going on their difference also got bigger. Now it just turns into a running joke.
