The APHE round is basically SAP, so it has enough filler to overpressure open tops like the M10... I love that feature. Honestly I'm pretty sure it is actual SAP, Gaijin just put it in wrong.

SAP starts to change that towards more of a capped HE shell with a little pen as a bonus. You can still technically pull off the same thing with APHE provided it comes from a large shell like the 152s, though. Also I think it's a naval gun, which would probably get it labeled SAP. Still, yeah not too much difference.

When i first got it it had two huge issues, the stock ammo was garbage, bounced a lot and had low damage AND Gaijin refused to fix the ammop rack for months, it floated outside as the turret rotated so any arty, mg bullet of HE fired at you if your turret didn't face straight forward blew you up immediately.
I cannot take the SAV seriously since it means Service Après Vente in French, meaning "After Sales Support/Customer Service". Now I keep picturing an SAV rounding a corner whispering: "We've been trying to reach you about your tank's extended warranty"
You gotta cover the Strv-103s, hull aiming is annoying on slopes but situationally, it can be unstoppable. 4 second reload, laser range finder, frontally immune from basically everything, APDS in the A, APFSD in the C. I love that thing

If I'm not blown to pieces, I can be clumsy and careless and still destroy a tank because I get so many shots so quickly. This tank is amazing honestly. Bought it during christmas when it became temporarily available.
I think you'd enjoy playing the tech tree EBR and ARL-44 - the EBR suits a speedy playstyle, while the ARL is pretty nifty for penning everything. Or, if you're feeling spicy, you could also use the AMX-13 DCA 40 with its goofy 40 mil with a high fire rate

While Gaijin did technically remove the vehicle from the premium tree, they still bring it back for sale every now and then. That being said, I got it about a month and a half ago because it just came back randomly.
I'd personally love to see you play the (good) Type 60 SPRG tank in Japan (The twin-barrel recoilless rifle). It's an absolute gremlin at its tier and I think you'd enjoy it with the primary and secondary guns bound to different keys. Of course, this is in stark contrast to the bad Type 60 ATM but eh, Japan do be like that.
Fun fact: the lower C cap on Domination #2 Golden Quarry, that big excavator, you can fit a BT-5 by wiggling it between the middle treads, effectively holding the cap. I did this at 9.7 (I was hunting helis with a biplane for god mode farming) so do with that information as you will

Spookston I think you should do a gameplay video on the cm11, it’s truly a hidden Jem, it has the m1 abrams firing system, and an m48 turret mounted on a m60 body. This gives it a faster reload than the m60, it also makes up for most of the armor loss on the m48 turret by suiting it up in ERA
1:43 that crane is called Dragline excavator, its probably the ESh 6/45 It wasn't a boulder until the crane was there & digs the surrounding, it moves by galloping really slowly. without wheels/tracks.
Picked up this vehicle during a sale semi-recently and i was mainly surprised by how often the APHE overpressures, it feels closer to SAPHEI than regular APHE in that regard.
I love the sav, its aphe has more HE filler than a Sherman 75mm HE shell, so it just decimates open tops by hitting the ground next to it, you can also over pressure m10's by hitting the front plate
One of the friends I play WT with is an absolute Plane/bomb/rocket/missile magnet, the rest of us love playing with him since we know that most flying things will go his way insteed of ours ^^ .
When this was 2.7 it was awesome. The first vehicle that was good enough for my cash. Still good, shadow a heavy tank and provide firepower between their reloads. Also, great for dealing with rushing trucks, R3s, pumas and the like. Beware of CAS. Use HE into the tree/building tops for last stand AA.
Could you do a video on the IS-4M? You've covered other 7.7 heavies extensively but always seemed to miss it out, it would be interesting to see how it stacks up nowadays from once being the king of top tier.
Suggestion: try out the leopard 1, Its in a spot at 7.3 where it does very well, and in downtiers, faces WWII tanks that don't stand much of a chance, But also works decently well in upteirs against most vehicles due to the APDS or the HEATFS round it gets (I personally prefer APDS)
The SAV works well when the spawn rush comes in. The problem at that point is even when you have got 6 for 6, you get shot by 7 and 8 while being bombed. Great video. BTW. o7
Dude, as a German player I feel your pain. I just got the Leopard 1 and in my second battle I was one of the only people capping C, and I killed six people before the enemy team took me down with zero backup. Meanwhile my entire team was getting slaughtered on A.
I remember when i bought the swedish pack when sweden first came out because i was super excited, only purchase i ever made. 100% worth playing the sav at whatever super low tier it was at that time.
They just put this up for sale again. I still suck, but this is a hell of a lot of fun. So far I'm enjoying the Swedish tank tree, the Pbv-310 spaa is my favorite vehicle to play so far in the game. An AA vehicle that can bounce aircraft bullets combined with a very high rate of fire makes a fun game. This new-to-me Sav is a blast so far, although I am getting blasted a lot, like I say I'm kind of a newbie and I'm very much learning how to get around the maps let alone constantly expose myself to fire.
Talking about the T50 being tanky, once I was complitely exposed to a stug 3g with my side, he proceeded to fire 4 shots, dealing a total of 0 damage and get clapped by my 45

I got it when it came out and rarely played it. Then it was a BR orphan for a while. Then suddenly Sweden had a 3.7 lineup and wow! Its fun(ner) now. BR 3.7 has some really cool and slightly unique lineups in general despite all the overlapping vehicles.
Currently my favorite vehicle in the entirety of WT Edit: I do believe that machine at 1:43 is a walking dragline so it would create itself a little platform over time while it worked. Heavy machinery nerd coming in clutch ☝️🤓

I think you should extend the Swedish streak by playing the Delat Torn. The 3 sec semi-auto loader as well as its mobility makes it very good at 5.0

0:38 a little correction, you can buy it on the swedish armed forces day (13th of january this year), that´s how i got mine.
I got it when it came out and rarely played it. Then it was a BR orphan for a while. Then suddenly Sweden had a 3.7 lineup and wow! Its fun(ner) now. BR 3.7 has some really cool and slightly unique lineups in general despite all the overlapping vehicles.

I regularly take this tank to 4.3 and do very well. Pair it with the T18B with the 57mm cannon and you have great CAS support as well.

I have a suggestion for the problem with CAS, if in war thunder you had a commander role that would place AI controlled air defenses. and those defenses positioned according to the team score. Who agrees? And increase repair cost on some attacker plane on RB ground only
