I liked Runaways, hope they return to MCU

I wished Nico Monoru would have made it into the 2nd Dr Strange movie, but it remains nothing but a wish. Imagine her, Wanda and Dr Strange...I'm here for this. Or maybe in House of Harkness?
That would be really cool, but even seeing the Netflix MCU characters in the further MCU was surprising and a treat, but the Netflix heroes are all set in NYC, making an appearance from them pretty believable, Runaways is set in LA, which the further MCU (by that I mean the movies and Disney+ shows, and not shows from other networks that are now on Disney+, but shows made specifically for Disney+, such as WandaVision, Loki, etc) has actually never really visited.
But holy shit yesss, seeing Nico in the further MCU would be fucking awesome, seeing any of the Runaways in the further MCU would be awesome, imagine a multiple movie event that includes all established MCU movie/show characters, including the Defenders, the Runaways, etc, that'd be so fucking cool, uugggh it needs to happen, they're all in the same world, just make it happen Marvel!!!

@@jimclayson Oh, no, I was just saying that many stories take place in NYC in the MCU already, so the Defenders who are in NYC being in MCU movies makes a lot of sense, it's not at all out of the realm of possibility for a MCU film to be set in LA or have a chunk of it be set in LA, and therefore have the Runaways make an appearance, it's just it hasn't really happened yet, but a lot has been set in NYC, so the heroes in NYC being in the MCU was always gonna be more probable IMO.
My point wasn't that a MCU film being set in LA wasn't likely due to budget reasons or anything, it was just that it's already been set in NYC a lot, so it makes sense that they'd just bring in other NYC heroes.
There are new rumors that Nico will get her own series so maybe there is hope for them.
We need runaways and cloak and dagger back to the MCU
they could so easily cameo in a spiderman film, it would work so well

@@Mylament_ honestly, true. ever since watching runaways I've been desperately wanting nico to appear in a doctor strange movie, it would work so well.

I would have watched it if they adapted the events from the comics properly. But to stretch it out the way they did was a no for me.

I really hope they do find a way to reintroduce Runaways to the MCU now that they’re making Daredevil and other shows from the Netflix Marvel team cannon
Especially that ending to the Runaways show.
I'm pretty sure they're still in the MCU, they're all still doing their thing whilst the movies take place, the camera just needs to find them lol
The characters could easily pop up on Ms Marvel or some other Disney+ show like how Fisk and Matt Murdock came back
@@onelusciouslad7841 Exactly, but yet fans on the internet get triggered when you mention those shows as MCU. True it's not part of the main story of the MCU which is Marvel Studios, but it still took place in that universe. Of course they were more side stories within the MCU.
Well, to be fair... if the Netflix shows are being integrated (Ala Daredevil and Fisk), then the Runaways are in that world. Ala the cop, Mayhem, who moved from Harlem to New Orleans in Cloak and Dagger, of which the two of them were in the Runaways.
The only person to beat the Mouse in negotiations is Scarlet Johansson
Supposedly, she was asking for 20M, they said no, and got $40M, plus more work from them. She definitely won.

I still blame Feige for cancelling the show. But let's hope they return to the MCU in the future especially with Alex being teased of turning evil.

The real reason why it never went past a 3rd season was because of Disney+ and the MCU shows that were being launched.
Marvel Studios didn't want any other non-MCU produced Marvel shows like Hellstrom, New Warriors, Ghost Rider, Cloak & Dagger and Modok to either be made or likely even continue!
FYI, if you're interested I explain the deeper reasons why in a comment before yours. One reason as you mention is bringging back all the eggs in one basket as you mention, but also the fact that Marvel Television and Marvel Studios never really cooperated until they both ended up under the control of Kevin Feige. Also even continuing the exact same version of these series on Disney+ would mean that, as crazy as it sounds, Disney would have to pay some copyright fees for that exact instance of the characters. I don't mean the actors, I mean the exact character visual/style representations from those particular series.
This is why the style (clothes, "powers") of Kingpin in Hawkeye does not look like at all like the style he had in Daredevil.
With Daredevil I expect suit changes to avoid the copyright and be able to sell toys without paying fees to the creator(s) of that particular design in the Netflix series.

Inhumans was so, so much worse, though.
Marvel's Runaways and Supergirl are actually two of my favorite shows ever. They are really enjoyable and I just love them. Comfort shows
