I saw these songs on tiktok popping up on my feed everywhere and to be honest, I'm in love with the phonk genre so I picked PXLISH Beatz's Smurf cat Phonk Remix after in my arsenal after songs by Playaphonk, Ghostface Playa, Kordhell, Interworld, g3ox_em etc...
We all know this blue smurf cat who sings this beautiful phrase: "We Live We Love We lie" which is a song by Alan Walker called The Spectre.

There are two possibilities: Either you A) cut the track and make it slightly off on purpose to make it seem like your doing it live, but really you are choregraphing a light show and you use the shaking editing technique in an attempt to mask this. Or B) you've just programmed it unnecessarily hard to make it look more theatrical for your light show. There is no other reason to play the same exact note in several different places. Based on my experience with a Launchpad i'm guessing it's A, which just feels a little dishonest. If it's B it can be argued this is an "artistic choice."

Neither of these. There's a technique of playing the same button twice or more and it playing different sounds. It's called "multi-sampling". Also, you can switch pages too, not just one button (sets of samples basically) without you pressing any of the buttons on the right, because there's a plugin which does "autoswitch". Autoswitch works like on a given page if you press that button it plays the sound and automatically after that it switches the page. You can even tell it to do it with a delay or after more button presses. Launchpad is more complicated than what you think.
