    That was SUPER HELPFUL ! - Thank you for posting. I have seen two others so far that did not point out that you can punch out the little spots to get to the clips - that makes this whole job easy !

    Thank you so much! The jeep dealer wanted $700 to replace the door watch cable. I was able to get it done in about two hours. The part only cost me $40. Thank you so much for this video. It made it possible for me to do this myself

    We had an additional step of removing an inner screw on our 2012 for to remove the panel. Learned the hard way because we broke mechanical plastic bracket on our first door.

    Got me thru it! My panel had to have the access holes cut out, and a 8mm nut removed from the upper right access hole (remove rubber Plug). Thanks for the great vid!

    On my 2012, there was one more nut to remove that was behind a black rubber plug located about 6 inches above the door latch on the interior side of the door (opposite side of the door handle). I had a really bad rattle somewhere in my door and it magically went away when i put the door back together. I have no idea how i fixed the rattle but thanks for the helpful video.

    Perfect! I was able to fix my manual door lock (one M5 screw had fallen out, and the only way to get at the specialty screw was to remove the inner door trim) thanks to your complete instructions.

    I have question for anyone that knows….in the bottom front of the door, just below the strap, is a bolt. What does it do? Mine is missing and I have a rattle behind it so apparently it homds something in place

    could you do a video how to put back the glass? thanks

    • @nelsona779
      @nelsona779  3 года назад +1

      Make sure its on the window channel and slide up tape to top part of the door to prevent the window from sliding down, slowly but everything back together and slide down the window on to the clips.

    Are there clips/rods for the outside door handle and lock?

    • @nelsona779
      @nelsona779  3 года назад

      Yeah depending on what model you gonna have one rod and 2 nuts or bolts

    • @JohnnyG1956
      @JohnnyG1956 3 года назад +1

      @@nelsona779 Thanks! It is a 2016 JKU Rubicon Hardrock. The nut at the top of the lock assembly released everything.... I didn't have to mess with the rods. The problem was that the door would not unlock (or lock) all of the time and you could hear a buzz from around the latch assembly. I took the panel off and cleaned the latch/lock assembly. Now is seems to work but there is still a slight buzz. I had the same problem a couple of years ago and the dealer replaced the lock assembly (or at least they said that they did.)
