Never in a million years was that meant to go there. It was simply a smash and hope. Come one mate... Lots of goals like that at any level look great, but when you actually watch them back and watch the players eyes they are planning for it to go somewhere else. Also more evidence is watch the way it comes off the boot. Lots of them are mis hit which fools the keeper and goes in. But if you dont shoot you dont score. Same 4G surface as the Bishop's Cleave FA Cup debacle. Looks like our team has to take more lessons on how to play better on this surface. The one positive I could take from this game is that it looks like knee slides are a no no on a 4G pitch. Good, because I hate them unless it's a winning goal in the last minute of a game. This game here is a perfect reminder for the team to take forward into the 2nd half of the season. COYY.

I agree we don't need the cup run, but we were destroyed today by a much better team who will pushing us all the way in the league as will a few other clubs. At present we are just two or three losses away from being out of the play off's, it's that close. What we really need is a player like Faal who can take a chance, while we miss open goals.
@@SilverfoxJB you forgetting we were missing Dyer/Foulston/Morgan for the entire game and Cooke/Young for most. And 2 loans went back so we’re in the process of getting players in. No team has ever got promoted from NLS and done well in the cup in recent years.
