57:08 I would like to reject all speculation about stream sniping, wallhack and similar things. I was in a shootout with that marksman before, he hurt me when I first time used 50cal against this building. And then I killed him, but I thought he was only unconscious on the floor, so I wanted to finish him with 50cals, so I shot at these places. Further confirmed in this building was only one contact. I didn't want to risk my lives cleaning this building, so I tried to destroy the building with 50cals + our M136 missile. When the ammunition ran out, all I had to do was release my horny boys, then I from them get the info that there were 2 (dead) enemies in the upstairs building. Here is the record from my point of view: - beginning of this fight: ruclips.net/video/-ChehTly0Yw/видео.html - timestep for this shooting: ruclips.net/video/-ChehTly0Yw/видео.html
I think an interesting op would be a "US Army vs US Insurgents", with some kind of battle between a US Military platoon vs a platoon of American insurgents/revolutionaries equipped with civilian arms. (Semi-auto AK variants, AR15's, AR10's, Bolt actions, crossbows, homemade explosives, IEDs and Molotovs) The idea being that the army would not be allowed to use air-dropped armaments or heavy artillery with very limited armor use, (Humvees and Trucks but no APCs or Tanks) but would be overall better equipped. On the other side The Revolutionaries would be a MUCH larger group, be on the same "team" as the Civilian NPCs and thus be able to blend in with Civilian NPCs, but be more poorly equipped until and unless they could scavenge better arms from downed Soldiers. it would make for an interesting challenge for the US Army players: Trying to lock down a town infested with dozens of insurgents that they can't easily identify.
Liru, During the start i noticed you were struggling to identify the British weapon systems, being British I'm relatively familiar with them. To start then: the merlin, you correctly identified, has 3x GPMG also known as M240B's. And the Minimis you guessed they were and another British weapon, based off the American M249. The General Infantry is where i had a little laugh, you seemed to identify the British L85A3 (A3 being identified by the tan coating on it) as a L1A1 that's chambered in 7.62 rather that the L85 that is 5,56 NATO Standard. Now for that large Marksmen/Sharpshooter rifle, the L129A1(7.62) that was originally bought off the Canadians believe its a C7. and finally the land rovers with the 50's are Land Rover WMIKs (Weapons Mount Installation Kit) Hope that helped, now time to watch the rest of the video...
You should probably catch a stream and do the.!join command I believe to join Liru's main playerbase TSB. For anything else Uh.. Idk really.. XD... Maybe the description or discord has something. I dunno. I'm just here to chill and enjoy the content.
Hey dude. I'm from the OFCRA staff so if you want to join one of our event, our Discord is the place to be ;) Feel free to have a look by following this link: discord.gg/W5sJEy42
@liru i think you should increase increase the delay to 10min or 15min. Let's say there are some hidden player hiding behind enemy backline waiting for the kill, 5min easily let another team know there are enemy behind them. Another example, during 57:00, bluefor keep firing on a building, could easily due to they "know" there are still enemy alive in the building. (Not saying they did stream sniping)
I don't know the people in these communities, so apologies if this comes as a slander to them. I think at around 57:00 when that gunner nails the guy through the wall showcases why they want a delay on your streams. I didn't like the way he seemed to nail the guy directly then spread his fire out like "huh yeah idk where they might be hiding in there..." Even with a 5 minute delay if I were the guy in that building watching this, I'd be suspicious. Could have seen your stream from several minutes before, or the friendlies on the hill could have called the window they saw the marksman, it's just too difficult for the uninformed viewer like me to say. Anyway, great content, you've got me interested in getting back into Arma and playing these sometime. Keep it up.

The Insurgents team should be allowed an hour to familiarize themselves with the map as insurgents would be more likely local born or raised.

I hear fellow polish men and i feel great about it.
I wanna see Op's with actors and more of a high energy blend of bloody combat and RP.
With the right mods and a good Zeus you can get very genuine "Holy shit" reactions to some situations.
With the guy in on the 50 the way that tree lines up with where they were being shot from, that's the area I would have targeted as well.
Great to see arma still thriving. Wish the servers were dead and were more open to this kind of gameplay.
Can you do more ops with you actually in them
