Thank you for the informative video. I have a question is it possible to plot a 2D image from say one position of y that correspond to 7 reading (x values). For each value of y i am taking 7 measurements ie 3 readings above and below y then the 4th reading is the straight through reading at same level as y. I repeat this procedure for several times and then i need to plot it can you help please

I don't clearly understand what you want to plot? could you be more precise?

By the way, do you know how to save an edited colormap?

Offcourse you can choose whatever colormap you want, you can define the colormap range and colors individually in your script.

What does the x, y and z represents Sir? Please let me know

x represents (x-axis of your data file/array), y axis represent y data file, and the color represents z axis/data. So you can think its like a 3D plot, each pair of (x,y) will have a value of z, which is shown in color.
