- Leg # 9 is from Louisville to Cincinnati as we continue our 1200 mile cruise from Nashville to West Virginia on the Ohio River. On this trip we boat through the small towns in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio and encounter a mayfly attack along the way!
I will do so! And man that’s sounds great right now! We need to get all the way to Pittsburg to check off the entire Ohio River. But for now we are cruising south toward Florida.

We sure will! I am working on that now. Great town. I was really impressed with the downtown bars and restaurants and water access. We went to the place on water near the bridge. Docked right there and had a great table outside. Loved it!

Lesage, West Virginia, just east of Huntington
I'm from Huntington as well! Grandfather lives in Lesage and i spent huge amounts of my childhood in Lesage! Hillbilly Hotdogs is a great suggestion but so is Stewart;s!
@@K9COP282 I worked at Stewart’s when I was like 17 at the one in Huntington and then I helped open the one in Ashland. Hillbilly hotdogs is always going to be my favorite because the owners are very good friends of mine as well. Stop in and tell him that I sent you.

Where did you all stay east of Cincinnati? We are just west of Cincy in Aurora.
In the way back through we stayed several days in Aurora and loved it. We were right on the sea wall. Great town! We walked all around it exploring and saw the Clooney’s home and school and contributions. Had some good food and drink. You live in a wonderful place!
