我是大馬華人。這部電影勾起我很多回憶。我小時是外婆帶，也是住在kampung 司的屋子，下雨也是會漏水。我們也試過下雨淹水放紙船。我外婆家也是有養雞，也是沒有現代的洗手間。太多回憶了😃我還是在我外婆的古董針車上做功課😂
梁志强是新加坡最令人欣赏的导演，凡是有在新加坡生活过的人都会喜欢他的作品。期待他有更多的精彩，梁导，加油💪！

我70＋＋年出生，妈妈是新加坡公民。从小妈妈就带我和姐姐回新加坡，这部戏真的换回我很多小时候回新加坡kampung的回忆。从小路走进kampung所闻到的猪粪味真的很难忘。
无论看几次都会哭，尤其是招娣的遭遇😢 谢谢梁导，谢谢台前幕后的你们，成就了这部好电影，再次上映我还是会继续进戏院支持。
那个辛苦的旧年代，陈丽贞演活的招弟，看了泪流满面，她真的是很棒的女演员
是的！丽贞真是本国超有水准的一个好演员！由其是李国煌，他真的演活了亚坤，超级讨厌他，就代表，他演的非常棒！怀念的一套本土好戏！超棒！👏👏👏👏👏
最有感触的就是淹水，坦白说啦，我家柔佛州小丰盛新村，其实也是会淹水，只是看情况如何而已，说到淹水，你们拍到很到位，切切实实的还原，一旦淹水村民们的恐慌，无助和守望相助的精神全部已经体现出来，很棒

saw a scene at charcoal factory... it is at taiping perak. That villiage is like back in the 70's of singapore. Worth a visit
Very interesting, didactic, informative, excellent performance of cast, props, engineers, planning, and all. I can relate to the story and era, characters. The "Lim" character is hilarious performing the bossy role, haha. The matriarch is beautiful, her gentle grandmotherly ways. Congratulations of All. I lived in Singapore in the early 1970s when I was in my early teens. Really appreciate the hard life of the common people. Thank you very much, Director Jack Neo, and All !!
i think mr.jack neo should do more of movies like this but with a strong message of racial harmony in lieu of on going situation in SG particularly race discrimination.

Watched both parts 1 & 2 at local cinemas. Ur deepest appreciation and congrats to the whole producction team and actors who have made this possible for the younger gen to "experience" what life was then in the 50s/60s. For the older gen like me, there was such nostalgia to see those lovely ulu scenes of our life then. We will definitely watch the movies again.
Ps, may l also request that we pay for a ticket to watch it in a cinema for its full effect. The price of a ticket could help support our local movie industry :)

My siblings and I brought our parents to watch 1 and 2, knowing that they would love to watch it.
When the tonner came into view, my dad: WAH! 这个时代还可以找TONNER出来啊! (At this age still can find a tonner ah!) (in the theatre and everyone turned their head), my mum had to remind him to keep quiet. XD

Just finished watching Part 2 with my siblings...Fantastic movie....enjoyed very much...I intend to watch the 2nd time with my friend... I missed Part 1 because I was abroad then...wonder if anyone know if the DVD for part 1 is available

The wife looks more like the mother. Why don't they cast her as grandma? Wang lei who is 20+ years younger still look young even putting on old makeup and dyed hair white. I literally cringed whenever the aunty tried hard to act as his wife but failed cos she's simply too old!

场景在大马找，道具服装在大马找，可是没有一个大马导演像梁导有本事拍出那么好看感动的电影。大马除了周青元拍的电影比较值得看，其他的都是垃圾，只会过分夸张无厘头但是不是周星驰式的好笑，觉得幼稚，可悲。
