Williams is an issue, but you also can’t have Cade scoring 6 pts in 29 minutes as your star offensive player. Whether or not you have good coaching and/or decent pieces on your team, a star quality player shouldn’t be churning out only 2 points every 10 minutes. That’s just ridiculous.
Second year on a bad team with no spacing or personnel who fit. In his last games he was averaging 4 turn overs with 26ppg. Besides our core 4 this team is trash and all of them need to be developed. Another problem with the franchise. You dont watch pistons games. So chill and listen.
Before that game he was averaging well over 25 for the past 2 weeks
That’s only one game. The fact that man is shooting over 50% from the field for the last few games with that team is crazy

I am not sure what people would like the Pistons to do? They are in the very beginning of a rebuild, so they should obviously be tanking this season, what would it help if they win 17 games instead of 7? If Detroit would be trying to win this year, they would be absolutely stupid. If Cade is not willing to go through this rebuild, he can just put his money where his mouth is and not sign a rookie extension, which would basically force Detroit to trade him next season.

@@TheDiegoSinx Yes, they have been trying to rebuild for 4 years, but it just has not gone anywhere, so you have no other choice but to start all over again, which means tanking for a few seasons as Detroit will not get anybody through FA and entirely depend on the draft. The Pistons are very far away from compeding.
As a European who grew up with soccer, relegation would be awesome, but it is just not a realistic scenario the way the NBA is set up. In Europe, the soccer leagues are independant entities, while the NBA is literally owned by the NBA teams, you would have to reconstruct the whole structure to make changes on that level. The main way to adress this pretty common small market team problem is for the NBA to change the rules in FA to prevent star players always going to the same 5 teams.
@@riyd I get the anger at the front office, they have been horrendous for years. I am struggling to see what Monty Williams did do wrong, he inherited the worst roster in the league and maybe in history. They clearly signed him to such a long term deal to start another rebuild and steady the ship, they are absolutely supposed to loose and try things out, what would it help to win 10 more games this season? Sure, it looks pretty bad, but the main goal for this season and defenitely next season too is to maximize draft lottery odds.

But Cade is also failing himself because he's already had heaps of games where didn't he show up and scored below 10 and 20 points while shooting below 30 and 40% from the field and most of them were winnable games like the games against Cleveland and Atlanta where he only scored 9 and 10 points and he just had a game against Houston where he only scored 6 points in 29 minutes he's not scoring enough he should be averaging 30 or 35 with the team he has around him not 23 no excuses for any star player not to lead their team's to the Playoffs no matter who they play with because there's 30 teams playing in the Regular Season and half of them are the worst in the League so you should easily be able to whoop those bad teams asses during the season where teams don't play as hard or make adjustments to stop you and also where the refs will give you every foul like they don't do in the Playoffs.

Our starting 5 couldn't score and demand no respect even Stew. Thats the problem then Ausar is relegated to the corner no screens no cuts. No one checks stew at all he is open most of the time. Then ontop of that killian hayes starting with Cade to be the worst backcourt in the nba. No progress has been made in the franchise. Ivey was shooting great from 3 last year and showed he can shoot. But this year Monty killed his confidence and drowned his minuets. Sasser as well im up on because we need wings. Ausar hasn't been starting at the 3 but the team doesn't use him right. He is a great rebounder and defender. I told people Monty would further ruin this badly run organization.
