Cause the people in it are loosing control of their faculties. If you let only your intellect work all the time, it can do any amount of damage. We should move towards responsibility than just accumulating wealth. A responsible person usually finds a way to take care of his faculties - mind, body, energies etc. Trust me, I am telling this from personal experience. I haven't even begin to listen or even read any of Sadguru at that time.
Neurologist, anesthesiologist, quantum physicist, scientist in general.. all aretrying to understand what is consciousness? And no one seems to have clear answer. According to vedas, Brahmand (Universe) comes out of consciousness. Typical mistake is that consciousness is part of Universe but it seems to be wrong. Meditation & Yoga seems to be answering this question. That is why Sadhguru. It does not mean he has answered for questions.
