I'm really enjoying this Philippines series. It feels like the old "Christian LeBlanc's Travel Vlog." This is what made me subscribe. Your's was the first channel I subscribed to. Before that I just came to RUclips to watch random videos, maybe some vintage rock concerts. One night I was experiencing a severe case of wanderlust. I turned the TV to the Travel Channel only to find a "Pawn Stars" marathon. That wasn't going to work, so I did a RUclips search for travel Thailand. There you were. Now I follow a bunch of channels. Some of my favorites were you, Laura, Sawyer, Angelique, Josh, and Cody exploring. I would love it if you created an archive of that original vlog series in order. I have seen many of them but would love to start when you left Vancouver for your first trip to Thailand and watch them in order to your progress as a traveler and travel story teller.
I live 2 hrs away from Boracay and it's always been my go to beach. I think my first memory about the island was that the sand was way way whiter and sparkly, there were no infrastructures or whatsover, there were very few hotels and resorts. No night life at all and just some local stores. Me and my cousins would run around with the og inhabitants of the island and ask for some coconut juice. Nothing expensive. It's amazing how a virgin island I once knew escalated to being the party island of the Philippines. Great vids as always.
Glad you made it back to civilization, I'm also glad you seem to have been able to recover most of the data on that drive. Hopefully we'll see some of that. Going back to the start of this vid, let me say that unless the activity is between myself and a consenting woman it is very difficult for me to get excited by much at 3:30 in the morning. I have to go to Boracay one of these days. Stay Lost.
When I was in Boracay last January Puka beach was amazing. It was totally calm and only 2 or 3 local families chilling there enjoying the sun. Maybe just the wrong time for you, me and my friends loved it!
Spent the summer at Boracay and jumped off the same cliff as where you did! Great experience. And your cinematics too are 🔥, I tried my best to do some of those when I was there using a GoPro like you did when you were starting. Youre an inspiration to many! 😊

Have you been traveling to Baguio and 100 Island in the philippines? Dumaguete you should go, baliwan cave 1.5 kilometers inside then u can see snake, tarantula, cat fish etc. awesome. Also camiguin island where u can check the floating cemetery u can swim then look for the big cross under then ocean. if u have time check it out

Just saw a video by a vlogger couple by the name of Daneger and Stacey about Puka beach. They said it’s less “merchanty” than the main beach and they liked it because no one bothered them. Must be the time of day.

Wow it has changed so much... when we were there only 4 years ago.. we hired our own boat as big as the one you guys went on for $30... and Puka Beach was deserted... only 1 ice cream vendor.

I love Boracay few years back where all of the resorts were made of Nipa Hut. Not too commercialized and still not that popular for the tourist. I also missed the time where there were no electricity at all and every thing was dark.
Great camera work as always and very interesting coverage. Love the hotel afraid we sort of like roughing it in this style of accomdation ha ha. Our excuse is we are getting older now bones a bit sore ha ha stay safe keep posting and stay safe
