Sundays evenings in the 90s as a kid growing up wouldn't be complete without watching AFHV hosted by Bob Saget. I would watch with my dad before bed. RIP Bob
I used to watch this show with my Grandpa when we would visit with him on Sundays; good times. He passed away several years ago now. Thanks for sharing; it's fun to remember.
@@jakeystarsuper Whenever they showed this in syndication,, the commercials would start with, "Before RUclips, you could only see the funniest videos on one place." They're just giving you a "back in my day" story, youngblood. Just nod and smile.

32 years. How time flies. Doesn't feel so long ago now does it? There I was watching this episode of AFHV on my grandparents Sony Trinitron and the whole family having a ball.. Thank you Bob Saget. Hope my relatives are with you up in Heaven still making them laugh.
I watched it in my hometown of Dubai, UAE when I was a kid along with my family and Bob Saget is my childhood hero, thank you Bob Saget for your amazing memories RIP Bob Saget ((1956-2022))
I remember watching this on Sundays growing up. Before Bob Saget was introduced out on the stage, we briefly cut to a random family or a single person watching the show in a smaller stage on top next to where the audience is sitting.
I wasn’t anywhere close to alive when this aired, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t grow up with it. Every Sunday when I lived with my grandparents, they’d watch it. I got to see new episodes and these older ones, and it’s one of my fondest memories that I’ll never forget. Rip Bob, this is true gold
11:13 The awkward moment when you have not seen an AFV video in 20 years and pick a random 28 year old episode to watch on youtube and by some random force of coincidence one of the videos is from your small town where you grew up in the middle of nowhere. Yeah, I grew up more in the era when John Fugelsang and then Tom Bergeron hosted the show, but I remember watching reruns of the Bob Saget episodes in the early/mid 2000s and always liked him the best!
So sad knowing that Bob has passed away. I'm glad though he found out just how loved he was with AFV and how much it impacted pop culture for the next 30 years. This was always my favorite version.
