      I hung around for about 5 minutes and then swam to shore not far from the ramp.

    Great fishing session guys, that first Bream was a MONSTER!!!!.. What happened with the car, did it do a head gasket???....

      Thanks !! Yeah unfortunately the car was stuffed after that trip. Wasn't really worth repairing so Jason is exploring replacements.

      No not yet, I was supposed to camp there for 3 days at the end of last year but the weather was terrible and we cancelled. I've heard great things about it and very keen to fish it. Do you fish there ?

      @@fishingmad yeah a couple of times, absolute awesome place, we were there that really hot weekend a couple of months ago, the bream were big, 40cm + and biting well. I have a mate whose family have shares in one of the houses there and we had the privilege of staying for that weekend in fishing paradise. Hopefully see you around Orbost one day. Cheers .

      Wow that's amazing as there is very little accommodation in the area. 100% a spot I intend to visit soon.

    Do you use baits at all .last time there four months ago no bait ie( sandworm) one fish on peeled prawn just size .

      No we only fished with lures and plastics however many of the locals were using baits like yabbies, scrub worms, prawns and did quite well anchored up in various areas

      Yeah its been 12 months since I lost my other one. I picked up a 1000 size 2nd hand for a great price and am also starting to do some product testing for Shimano
