falcon being the "new captain america" is so lame. He's just a regular guy, completely regular, not a batman "regular" in quotations. Steve was a supersoldier. The shield means nothing, it's trash in the falcon's hands, he doesn't have the means to make good use of it, and he already has high tech wings that he can use as a shield and fly with. I think the decision to make falcon the "new captain america" is a mix of trying to make the falcon a relevant character again, and DEI. That's all, there's no other reasons behind it, the falcon isn't even an interesting character, and the actor doesn't play the role very well either, he's like hawkeye, but even hawkeye is more interesting than the falcon.
Yeah true, and then they put Bucky in the Thunderbolts, so that the audience thinks Falcon is more deserving of the shield, but I would rather Bucky have it cuz he really knows how to fight with it
