I would add the Chilli Middy to that list. As a distinguished older and at times injured dude like you, boards in this genre have been a game changer. All fun. All froth. Huge wave count. But still able to jam a turn where I reprise my youth again ... or least the way it feels.
Hey! great review ! how would you compare the Chilli Middy with similar volume to those boards ? I'm this ageing guy who look for a board to get back at it after after breaks, in small/weak waves as well as in clean and more punchy conditions... Thanks in advance :)

The first one reminds me of my Stamps Flare. As a 52yo, I’ve sadly let go of all of my traditional shortboards and have been trying to accept middleagedom. 😂. A torn shoulder and a herniated disc haven’t helped.
Hey! That sucks, but 20 years ago you’d be on a mini-mal, or a shortboard that continues to ruin your life.. So good there are these forgiving performance shapes available ✌️

Yeah, these two just have very similar outlines so felt the comparison was worthy. Middy is epic, and yeah it should be in the same realm…
