These are the types of videos that the community needs to see. Not everything will be a flawless specimen when done, sometimes things just happen, after all, this is natural material.
BTW- we have Numerous Fire Obsidian we had purchased at a Rock Show and not Touching Them until I know I am Very Confident in Doing So. Only been working on and off on My MAHOGANY OBSIDIAN WE ALSO PURCHASED ALONG WITH THE FIRE a whole Buck of Obsidian. Also have the needed supplies for A Carpet Polisher. Thinking of making several carpet polishing pads- hehehe Thank You for Sharing YMKO!!!
A video like this is what I feel the community needs more of Kyle... so thanks for doing one. And we look forward to more instructional video's from you.
My favorite is the bigger one, as it has 2 different features in one. Don't be so hard on yourself. You did a fantastic job. And you explained everything perfectly!
Dang, Kyle! Great video work, great explanation of your work, and you showed everything in real time (speeded up video parts drive me nuts). Well done my friend!
I like 2 the best.I like cabbing obsidian have not tried fire, it surely takes a great polish.Out of 10 types I tried so far triple flow is my favorite
Love the spoiler alert, made the video so much more entertaining. Have a great one. Love the cool stuff you got too by the way, the freeze stuff that you were gifted so maybe you can give some more to us in a drawing or something.
My favorite is definitely the second piece. That gold pattern is beautiful and looks amazing. The first one is very pretty as well, but I love the pattern in the second one more❤ And while those may not have turned out the way you wanted them to, they are still incredibly beautiful 🤩
Great video Kyle, I sit here wondering how you dealt with the contamination on your wheels, I hear about this issue a lot, but have yet to see how someone fixes that issue. Maybe you could make a video addressing this, show us what it looks like when contamination has happened and how you deal with it? Also I love both pieces equally ❤
For faceting there are many potential causes and solutions for contamination. If the contamination on the 1200 doesn't work itself out, is there a way that works more often than not for you to save the wheel? Like grinding corundum to try and work out the contaminant or at least make it smaller?

It’s Still Spectacular from what I Can See YMKO!!!
Cool watching the process to reveal the colors and to see what did and didn't work. Thanks for sharing this and the eye candy, cheers!

Such a beautiful rock and to bad it didn’t turn out the way you wanted.
Question by a Newbie’s- Can Fire Obsidian and Mahogany Obsidian EXIST IN THE SAME ROCK/STONE???
