If you didn't live in the '80s Czechoslovakia, you can't really appreciate how insane the assets are. The furniture, appliances, switches, door handles, windows, everything is what all of us had in our homes (and pubs, shops, etc.). Same goes for all the buildings, road signs, garbage cans, nature (minus the sea). Everything is spot on '80s Czechoslovakia!
Arma Reforger looks absolutely insane graphics wise, and the playability is actually decent. When Arma 4 comes out and we get a big ol' modding community... I'm really looking forward to the future of Arma games.
Reforger is a big leap from 3 from a technical standpoint so i cant imagine how 4 will be and honestly i want them to take their time with it cause 3 was so broken it was barely playable at time and even if 4 releases in 2 years or 3 im fine with that as long as we get a proper game

Could only imagine at some stage reforger being able to hold 100v100 or 50v 50 battles. Hold the point or capture the point like we use to have in the original Arma 2 days. People would would venture out and get structures and vehicles, they would capture armaments. The were my fondest memories of Arma2.

DayZ SA never really replaced the Arma 2 DayZ Mod. It's a complitaly different vibe that I never really got to fully enjoy it's lacking a lot and it's been in development for soo many years. While SA feels more like a well optimized family friendly "survival" indie game where all you do is PvP (Zombies are joke and a slight annoince), Mod felt like a proper triple A game which perefctly captured post-apocaliptic feeling (especially with graphics and music), Zombies were on point with scary a** visuals, nigthmare inducing sounds and uncanny animations. Vehicles were available and worked well, so did helis, this gave much depth to the map. AI was a big win, had a lot of fun doing missions and then PvPing over it while zombies from nearby areas were swarming us. Not to mention a variaty of weapons which spawned with mags and saved a headache of searching for them seperatly. Arma 2 DayZ mod is still a lot of fun, it is sad that performance isn't there but I always go back and fireup local Overpoch server to play with friends. I really hope Reforger's DayZ mod will eventually get there ❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻 Potential is there to make it better than SA just like Arma2 Mod, Would love to see Namalsk with all the mutants and gauss rifle.
I totally agree , standalone really didn't hit the spot for me as well . It is impressive how it runs and looks but never captured that old school feeling of a2 dayz mod . The future seems good for ther arma and dayz community :) . Thanks for watching.

this game is really blowing people away as it should. theyve just upped the player count to 128 from 64 and with that has brought some complications with instability and crashing. the devs are already aware of these issues im confident they'll iron them out. when they do this game with its modding potential will be UNSTOPPABLE. excited !!
The stones are amazing, i still find it ridiculous that they still haven't figured how to program waves or bodies of water, still looks like arma lol. It was one of the reasons for one of their delays and it still looks the same! The foam never works hahaha. I bet they have the same high school colleague who is still on the team trying to do the water in bwetwween breaks making the terrain hahaha.

I had a terrible time playing the dayz mod. I spent hours finding nothing but pants and bandages, not a zombie in sight, and getting absolutely decimated by every single person I came across because they camped the trader with mk18s and a heli

I played for hours, found no zombies. Only guys that camped the trader for God knows how long that fly around fully kitted and hunt fresh spawns. If I see anyone actually doing good in the dayz reforger mod, I instantly know it's because they are being gifted a good time by the game master
Props to anyone who gets enjoyment out of this mod, but based on my experience this mod is literally the video game equivalent of watching paint dry. I’m not trying to be hyperbolic or mean spirited, it’s genuinely just THAT incredibly boring. Walking around in a completely empty, bugged out laggy server doing literally nothing at all. Like literally not a single piece of loot spawns, everyone in the chat talking about the COMPLETE lack of ANY kind of loot whatsoever, no guns, no boots, no binoculars, nothing. You finally come across another player and since you can’t punch or attack at all without a weapon, and since no weapons spawn in, you just stand there looking at each other. Even worse are the clips of people actually finding a weapon and shooting someone 48 times in the head and them not dying. Nice. 👍 I get that this is still in alpha, but god damn what an absolute waste of time. That new Gollum game or Redfall looks more appealing, since there’s ACTUALLY something to do, imagine. 😂
Rivalling SA is no big thing ....Due to the way Bohemia made Arma III "Pay to Play" through endless meaningless DLC updates. The question is will They do the same with Reforger so even if this version is better than SA .....will it end up being just another Drain.... Got to admit it does look Great and i would be tempted ...think i will wait. GG Sada
looks okay, finally glad bohemia have finally made the actual effort to decorate building interiors with furnature and such, but characters are literally bullet sponges sometimes taking multiple mags to kill someone, so not really bothered by reforger

This is a dayz mod for Arma reforger :) . You will need arma reforger and then search for deadzone in the in game browser. Hope that helps.

The damn game keeps going into Windowed Mode every time the Graphics are changed or go into a Server. Other than that is great.
