Though the show has ended! I would love to see a prequel show about Wilford Industries building the train, the freeze starting ect! There’s prequel comics to set a foundations for a plot they could make fit with the shows four season story! Plus more Sean Bean as Wilford!
I was waiting for the usual "ominous hint of future danger" foreshadowing at the end where you realize the good guys aren't in the clear and will face new challenges and threats... and then I realized it was the end of the entire series so the flowers and the actual happy ending were the conclusion. At that point, as up and down (and oftentimes just plain bad) as this season was, it made me kind of sad. And I guess they did just kill off Wilford in the most anticlimactic way possible.
The thing is, the good guys are not actually the good guys. The people from the tail end of the train were never meant to be there. I love the show, but the problem with the show is the problem with our society, which is, entitlement. I realize that the people in the tail, just wanted to live. but first they broke into the train stowed away then they wanted rights and privileges like they were supposed to be there. thing is they would never supposed to be there. it was kind of crappy that the train was mainly filled with wealthy people that were friends of Wilford. but the thing is although they paid to be there their money was not worth anything anymore society had fallen, so if you think about it basically it was symbolic they were there because they were sycophants, and friends, those were the type of people that Wilfred wanted around him, but that was his prerogative, it was his train. I'm not saying that he was a good person or a nice person he was an asshole. but he was the engineer and he was betrayed by Melanie. she left him to die. now when you think about it are the people from the tail section going to be any better restarting society these people if this was real life give them 10 years and there's going to be in fighting as humans do come it's going to be over things like resources but more importantly it's mostly going to be about people wanting to rule. then there's the other problem of Layton, he went totally against everything that he's supposedly believed in he took big Alice, to go get his daughter and he risked everyone's lives that goes totally against the premise of the show, it makes him no better than Wilfred although Wilfred is the one that took his daughter it made him just like everyone else he was supposed to be above that, but I realize he's just a human, and it was his child. anyway the people from the tail section they were never supposed to be there

Willford isn't dead, they showed him slipping unconscious, so we know he didnt die but was sad they didnt show him alive in the final episode, im sad of this becuase the producer said season 4 was the final season, and there wont be a season 5, it was a very anticlimactic ending to such an epic series. Willford is alive.
When you look at the flowers blooming in the final scene, they kinda look like the one that we first saw in the beginning of season 1, which is a nice parallel.
it does air on sunday... for plebs x-p. iTV studios releases it online early, and there are other, more controversial, ways to get it online - the latter of which I can neither confirm nor deny having done.

Can you tell me how you can retro-fit every wheel on a moving train that is running in real cold temperatures where only a few people even know how to operate outside without every person on the train knowing exactly what is happening? Maybe there is some BS, that the train could always do that one wheel at a time in order to deal with wheels breaking and they just activated it all at once, but none of that was mentioned. At least that I heard.

Ok... i musta missed something.... was there a reveal as to what the scientist showed Nima? Her final creation? She said something like, thats the beauty of science? If it was a soldier brought back to life, then why didnt they continue that thread?
If they weren't going to follow through with that part of the story line they should have just cut it out completely. I mean why tease the viewers only to abandon that part of the storyline completely as if it meant nothing? Bad writing or sequel and or prequel reasons?
Based on ratings alone, highly unlikely, but I did read an interview from last December in which the actor who played Roche said there were ideas around to keep it going a few more seasons. Ending at S4 was not the original plan and decision to end the show occurred halfway during filming of this season, so it started out not with intention to be the last year of Snowpiercer.
Good finish but I am wondering what would have been had the show gone for longer. They’re technically no better off than at the end of Season 3 but there was some wider hope for humanity at the end albeit only hinted at.
What do you think the ramifications of Nima’s experiment to create the New Eden pocket are? I look at it that, despite his mistakes, creating New Eden has given humanity a better chance to keep going until the wider effects of CW-7 have subsided. Can such a nice flower even grow out of the snow like that? I thought that image and the resurrection of 🐀 were absolutely ridiculous despite adding to the episode.
@@TheJeffSharpeShow hopefully not for another 50 years as Melanie predicted this to be the upper limit for New Eden. One has to hope the earth will thaw earlier than predicted. But even then it will take hundreds to years to restore humanity. On that respect it was correct not to show a flash forward
And I still think S3 finale had a more epic feel to it the moment they left Big Alice and went outside for the first time. It does not annoy me that S4 did not try to top this but merely extend on that ending with everyone together at the same spot.
The flower thing echoes the end of the original comics and it shows that the planet is warming already. Maybe the original Gemini launch kickstarted a natural change in the weather. They don't know how long New Eden will last but it could be a lifetime or more, maybe even permanently. They've still got both of the trains if need be as well as the resources of the Silo. They can give Snowpiercer a break and maybe run much needed maintenance on her using the Silo's resources. And even if they're forced to go in the end, they are truly One Train now, they're united like never before. Layton's army this time wasn't just the Tail, but ALL classes. There was at least one First Class passenger fighting alongside them.
So Icebreaker in the TV Series is a Missile instead of another Ark Train (as seen in the Graphic Novels 🙄), we should have gotten to see Icebreaker as a Train on this show
I think that he was just knocked out. They probably sent anyone unwilling to peacefully coexist back to the Silo before going to New Eden, only Buffalo came back with them of Milius' people as far as I can tell. With Milius dead, the previous Admiral probably retook control of her base and her people.

I thought the reanimated corpse would be Ben, and that they would use him as leverage to get Melanie to stop disarming the rocket. Wasted opportunity there for sure.
You have to suspend belief in this episode that a train can become a hovercraft to travel over the ocean.. Thought Reddit and Quora might have an explanation but i guess you have to buy into the fantasy.
It's based off of the comic book series: in The Crossing the train Icebreaker (Snowpiercer was only really in the first volume of the story) uses tyre chains to cross the ocean just like that tracking down the source of a signal that they pick up. Most of the train is destroyed before they arrive, but it works. This was clearly supposed to have been inspired by that. The scene with the flowers is clearly supposed to have been inspired by the end of the comic book series.
