Watched this whole video start to finish. I love the deck, and I found your commentary very instructive! Would love to hear more about your side deck theory.
Actually i have all this cards and im gonna try it this saturday, i hope to get first place 2 prismatic cyber dragon, gonna study this video all the week, keep cooking virus stuff, its pretty badass 😎
got first place in an 8 man with this recently, this deck is very strong. A couple of thoughts though-burial from a different dimension seems really strong here no? recycling your wyverns for more red med summons might be useful. To go along with that I think DAD might be warranted since you're on so many darks and have solid GY manipulation. I also agree with the one commenter that I think 9 dragons may be optimal, there's so many times I've had fufu dead because of the low dragon count. I don't think I really like reaper too much tbh, being a normal summon he conflicts with the wyverns and if I end up having to play defense with him, I'm almost always falling too far behind and losing(just from my experience, maybe I'm doing something wrong). I also really like morphing jar in theory, but in practice it's kinda eh. If I've resolved a virus and gotten good value, discarding my opponents hand causing them to draw more with the virus hasn't panned out well too often for me. If my opponent is virused, they will have less plays which sometimes means they won't even attack jar, so if turn 1 I go set kozaky/fus plus virus, activate virus on opponent's turn, then set morphing jar the next turn it ends up being a kinda awkward 3 card combo that they can potentially interrupt. And it is only really good as part of a combo, because my discards aren't always better than my opponent's, most of my good discards are going to be sent off fufu(and sometimes jar can turn off fufu for later too). Just some of my thoughts on it all, this deck is crazy strong though and I can't believe more people aren't pilled on it.
I am so happy you enjoy playing the deck! I have tried most of the techs you talk about, so Burial can be a good side deck card imo in case your opponent is running a lot of cards that banish like bottomless and other stuff, it is kind of not consistent though because it essentially only synergizes with future fusion bringing back your wyverns but can be very powerful. In the first version of this deck I was indeed running Dad but I felt like I was bricking on it a lot of the games and I don't think there is that much of a grave manipulation in here, but when it works it definitely boosts the deck up a tier. There was a combo where I'd future fusion for 3 redmd and 2 wyvern and instantly summon dad which was cool. Now, I love reaper in this deck it's just the best of both worlds, he can go in when opponent has an empty field and discard his last cards and also when you are in a bad spot you can just set it and it is really difficult to get rid of him and it helps you defensively, the only downside I see is that it conflicts with your skill drains. I totally agree about the morphing jar arguement it seems really good in theory but yeah it is not that great in practice. The night before the tournament I was actually running a third kozaky instead of the morphing jar but I decided to change it last second in order to maybe cheese some wins. Very insightful comment thank you for your thoughts!
@@Pana2525YGOcompletely fair on dad, there’s definitely no solid way other than fufu for 3 redmds to turbo out DAD, my thought was set fus or kozaky for virus plus fufu, though that my be a little slow. Makes sense on burial too. I really encourage you to evaluate spirit reaper though. I know this was just one tournament but if I count correctly you drew it 3 times, 2 times it was a brick/didn’t do anything and the 3rd time you tried to wall up and it was just destroyed by dark armed. That’s been my experience with reaper in general every time I play the deck. If we cut jar and reaper, that leaves room to bump up to 9 dragons plus I may test out DAD or 3rd main decked DDWL. Lightning vortex might be another one worth considering, I’ve found it’s really easy to fall behind especially going second with this deck, and the comeback potential after your opponent has swarmed is almost non existent. Again I do want to stress how insanely cool I think this deck is, you really have something special here I think
@@treyjohnson7235 Maybe you are correct, I just felt that spirit reaper tied the whole deck together for a long time, in this tournament it actually didn't do anything but in my testing games I believe it was pretty good. But yeah there are a lot of ways you can play the deck and I am glad some people find it cool and not cringe and toxic like most do lol
I built this a few days ago and I like the concept. I switched a few things but its cool. One of my main issues is game1 fiture fusion can be dead because of the low amount of dragons game1. I had a few games where after Sarcing the FF i didnt have 5 targets left lol
Game 8 you should have known that Future Fusion was NEVER resolving with them having both Caius and MST, so you should have just Heavy Storm'd to ensure your Mind Crush went through.
I have tried Dark Armed Dragon in the past I did not really like it since you do not have many ways to manipulate the grave in this deck. But when it works then it is great so yeah you can definitely do that!
Love the deck, idk what to side out sometimes, which are the flex spots? Utility card when side in skill drain, ddv against big monsters and gold sarc(?) when going 2nd?
@darkmoltak usually I side out some amount of virus depending on the opponents deck and maybe if I cut down on the viruses then some kozakys go out too. The utility monsters reaper, lady, mole usually come out for skill drain and other monsters that work under skill drain like doomcal or exploder. Prohibition comes in mainly to call treeborn since with EEV they cant really out it that cleanly. I try not to side out sarc cuz you kinda need to see your power cards, sometimes vs fast decks going second you could and upstart never leaves the main.
I sided skill drain instead of maining it because the most popular decks right now are Hero Beat and Blackwings in which the skill drain does not do much against. Also Skill drain has anti-synergy with your own Gorz and Tragoedia and the utility monsters.
@TCGRS I have tried it but I didn't really like it it seemed a bit win more, like if you have already resolved fufu then you should win and it is a big brick besides bringing wyverns back.

As a well-known hater of Dragon Turbo and Frogs, I found this video extremely enjoyable.
so much fun to watch, thank you!

I swear this is the best edison video up to date ❤
Loved the deck, loved the commentary. keep it up!
This is my new favorite deck in Edison by a mile
One of those decks that's super dope to watch, but you hate your life if you see your opponent playing it, lol. Congrats on the top!

It does come up sometimes but usually only game 1 after that you can side in more dragons. But yeah you can play more if you want to.
Sack Buster LOLdier lmao (37 min mark)

This commentary is awesome! its pretty good! LOL. Did you make any changes or additions to this decklist?
Thank you! For now I am toying with some forbidden stuff like Trap of Darkness but I think this version was pretty well thought out.
Pana, what do u think to cut a Kozaky to put in Dark Armed Dragon? Im testing the deck, it's pretty funny. I cut a prohibition to play starlight
I have tried Dark Armed Dragon in the past I did not really like it since you do not have many ways to manipulate the grave in this deck. But when it works then it is great so yeah you can definitely do that!
Fun deck I'm playing it in Tag Force 3

this is so enjoyable.
why did you went to side skill drain? it seems like you almost side it in. just the hero beat matchup?
I sided skill drain instead of maining it because the most popular decks right now are Hero Beat and Blackwings in which the skill drain does not do much against. Also Skill drain has anti-synergy with your own Gorz and Tragoedia and the utility monsters.
Bro. Could you share a Dark Magician Edison deck? This is a challange…
Do you ever think about playing burial to bring back the wyverns?
@TCGRS I have tried it but I didn't really like it it seemed a bit win more, like if you have already resolved fufu then you should win and it is a big brick besides bringing wyverns back.
I'd recommend giving the trap card called give and take a try. Each can do 2500 damage if you give them
giant kozaky 😂 kind of funny way to win.
I have seen it and I have made a decklist with it not super competitive though.
You doesnt evan know kris perovic 😂 but gives him a 2:0😂😂 cool deck
Had to do it to em
15:08 abzero was at 3k attacking over red eyes but u misplayed
Skill Drain is on the field so Ab0 is just 2500
