Dam man. I'm 38 yrs old. I NEVER have shed a tear for someone I never met. You got me sobbing like a baby. This is painful. You are the only reason I am surrounded by 15 snakes. And I'm sure many others have the same story. Can you imagine how many animals have great lives due to the love you have shown so many? I can never thank you enough. Stay strong Brian. ❤

I am a 41 (Birthday was yesterday) with my hair all the way down to my bottom. I made an appointment tomorrow to cut my hair off in a ponytail from the neck & donate it to cancer patients & then shaving the rest of it in solidarity. We love you, Brian! We love you no matter what you weigh, look like, the length of your hair or what the future holds. We love you way more than our own hair & to feel so powerless to be able to help you aside from donating to the Legacy Aquarium, being able to stand next to you in your time of need, bald, just makes what is so scary and uncertain, a little more light hearted. ❤🎗️

It's ok Brian. I started losing my hair 2 weeks after I started chemo and it was hard but I decided to take the high road and I shaved my head. I embraced the bald and 6 months later it started growing back. I'll be visiting you in June and I have a special gift for you that I will be bringing with me. I balled like a baby when I saw Lori get emotional. She has this “tough lady don’t care what you think” persona but deep down she really is a sweet sweet soft hearted woman that’s hurting more than all of us combined watching her life partner go thru this and there is absolutely nothing she can do to make it better for Brian. I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult this is for not just Brian but Lori and Noah!!!!!

My son, Jayden got me through everything and now I'm in remission and got my promotion and a new wife. Your hair does not define you. The support around you solidifies your existence. I just found you right when you were going to the hospital for pain and despite all the news you’ve been so loving and looking for positivity. I'm sorry you have to cut your hair hopefully since you've been in your Chemo treatment they will start to see reduction of the cancer. And like you said you can grow it back? But we are all here for you and your family no matter what the road holds install for us. We all want you to get through this and everybody who has seen cancer and Dealt with cancer know what to respect. And we all know you gotta look like s*** at some point For the chemo to do its job and beat the cancer so maybe it's a good thing Maybe with all of the physical changes maybe next time you go in there to the doctors. @@sheilastaneart9469 He's surely seen the posts. Friend, I know you want to help, but this isn't it. (It's a giant faux pas to give a current or planning chemo patient suggestions for "alternative treatments", especially doing it a lot.) Fwiw he has a _team_ of doctors & medical staff looking after him, and plus, they can coordinate with other doctors. And, if at any point he feels that he needs additional "not just meds" help, he can get a doctor specialising in palliative care. (To be clear: it's not just for folks "near the end"; they help patients who are really struggling but very much can recover, as he can. I can feel it in my bones.🩵)
Also... For your own well being, do be careful (& frankly sceptical) about "alternative" or "holistic" stuff like this "Metabolic therapy"; it's a farce. It's just a "holistic" grab-bag of some of the usual suspects of the alternative therapy world (keto is just Atkins, for example, & diabetics are risking their lives with those). And that world is mostly scams by greedy liars - and don't get me wrong, I'm not faulting you! They're good at the con, acting like they care and then up-selling you faff & woo. I hope I don't sound grumpy, but if I do, please be assured that my problem is not with you at all, but with these snake-oil salesmen who shamelessly bilk money from people with cancer. Despicable. It really gets to me every time.

What an incredible vlog, boys. I cried so much. I'm a female but am actually debating shaving my head in honour of Brian. He has been such an inspiration for me for the last 10 years. I've been watching since the snakebytes day and have t missed a single video. I'm blessed to have had the honor of meeting Brian at our tour of the reptarium. I just came across this video. I had hair down to the middle of my back and after diagnosis of breast cancer and subsequent treatments, my hair started coming out in great chunks. I completely shaved my head so i didn't have to see it falling out. It was horribly traumatic. I am so sorry that the cancer took your hair and so sad that you lost your battle to cancer. Cancer freakin sucks.

I know your hair was a big part of you. Honestly I like the shorter version! You can beat it. Not every day is a good day… and it’s ok. You are Brian that has cancer NOT cancer whose name is Brian. You ARE NOT THE DISEASE! You are the caretaker of reptiles, a teacher of what most people are afraid of..a husband, a dad, and a grandpa and also a dear friend to a lot of people. One step at a time.

I'm crying. I had such a great time at The Reptarium. Brought my 31yr old son for his birthday this past weekend. Came from Ohio to see your animals. And we will come back again. I know that Cancer is a horrible thing to have to endure and I know first hand as I've lost my mother in law to it after over a ten year battle and I luckily still have my Dad after he fought with all his mite to overcome his battle with Leukemia! I thank God everyday for each and every day that my Dad is able to be in our lives as I just can't imagine a life without him he's my hero and has given me, my mom, and now my little boy such an incredible life filled with love, compassion, and knowledge that im able to pass on to my son and I know that I wouldn't be here today if not for the man and father he has been to me the post 40 years!!! I know that he knows but I cannot say it enough I LOVE YOU DAD! With that being said I know we don't know each other Brian but from what I know of you over the years from your vlog and other videos the world is a better place because you are in it you have touched countless lives of the people that follow you and let's not forget the animals that live wonderful lives as a direct result of the way you face each and every day with unrelenting love and compassion! I know I'm only one comment amongst countless others but if by chance you are able to read this I want you to know that you are strong and have the love and support of so many and while this may be a big bump in your road of life I know you can overcome this obstacle like you have so many others! Please don't ever give up fighting because the world is a far better place with you in it and while the future may seem bleak just remember this can be overcome my dad is living proof!!! You got this Brian and btw despite the fact it was tough to cut your hair it still looks great and classy and when times are tough and your maybe feeling bummed about having to cut it just remind yourself it is going to grow back and this too shall pass!!! Growing up I loved animals, and specifically reptiles. You have always been a hero of mine and an inspiration. At this point I’m in charge of the reptile department in my local pet store. Recently I found out one of my favorite and best local breeders worked with you quite a bit before RUclips was really a thing and he considers you to be a friend.
