When looking at new replacement speakers online, I'm not seeing the plug with the long cable attached to the speakers?? The new ones just have the four eye-holes.
@@DIYGeardo I need to replace the main loudspeaker. When searching for a replacement, I saw speakers with connectors at each of the four corners, and that was all. However, when I took my SE2 apart and removed the original speaker, it had a flat cable along one side that is attached to the top side of the bottom end, and extends just past the top end of the speaker with a plug at the end of the cable, and another plug near the bottom. This cable is obviously the electrical plug-in connection for the loudspeaker...but the new replacement speakers I've seen online don't have this cable. After removing the loudspeaker and using a magnifying glass, I discovered that this cable is actually attached by way of stick-on. I was able to use a thin guitar pick to gently slide under the attached part of the cable and remove it, while retaining the stickiness. So I'm guessing the proper procedure during replacement is to remove the power cable from the old speaker and attach it to the new speaker, but this wasn't mentioned nor shown in any of the videos I've seen. And that's a very important part of the replacement procedure to be aware of! I'll be receiving the new speaker in a couple days, so we'll see how it goes.

Update: I just followed my intuition and switched the power connector/cable from the old speaker to the new one, installed it and all is working well.
