The reason it’s 18 to drink in the UK is because at 18 you are considered a legal adult. We can also drink at 16 in some certain circumstances.
We’re considered adults at 18 in the US too, but still can’t drink till 21🥲

I know we're all basically slaves to our governments but surely you dont believe you're not capable of deciding if you want to drink or not by 18 ? And it's crazy that's the reasoning for the alcohol age limit in the US but 18 year olds are allowed to buy guns.
