This is why I think the movie is so special. It does a great job at illustrating empty voids and atmosphere. This movie has so much potential. SO MUCH POTENTIAL. I think trying to be a kids movie is what stopped dragon hunters from being amazing. Imagine the characters a little more serious. Still lovely but aware of what is coming. Imagine the goofy design is gone. Imagine it like it's not trying to be funny. Imagine it longer, so there is more time for character and story development. Well, you gotta remember that there was a Kids Cartoon before the Movie said movie is based on. Would be kind of awkward to have this children's cartoon spawn a mature audience movie.
As a French dude, I grew up with Dragon Hunters. The anime and the movie are REAL SHIT. THIS IS SO REAL AND PRECIOUS. At the beginning, the creator Arthur Qwak made a comic book, darker and bloodier. Little success. But with his anime, everything became much bigger. I think dragon hunters deserve a rework. As you said, something more serious for adults. It would be a true masterpiece

When i was 7 i watched this movie then i heard this song i was like cool when it was bed time i cried so much this song was on repeat in my head i cried good job lotus or bali you have put this song in to peopls heart and soul. *EDIT* holy crap it’s been 5 years and still can’t get it out of my head and I didn’t know this comment would blow up
The scene for this track sure stuck with me ever since I saw the movie. The movie itself I find, by now, not as good as I remember it, but that scene sure will always remain a favorite for how it made me feel and what it showed. The abyss, no way back, on your way towards something of enormous size and ability that devours entire worlds and cities, no other form of life in sight for miles except the one or two scavenging dragon in the ruins and whatever life stock left behind in the doomed cities, the childhood friendship we just saw crumble and all of the uncertainty of what is to come. Just lovely~

I can’t be the only one still listening to this. I just randomly thought about it again and came to this video. I saw the movie when I was a kid and the first time I heard this song i think I truly felt what it feels like to be sad. I’m still a teenager but I think about this movie often
I can't believe I finally found it, after such a long time of intense searching.. always coming out on copies that don't even sound the same. I remember this scene as vividly as the first time I saw it, being taken away into another place and getting spooked up by those little dragons that suddenly appear. All I can think about while hearing this are the good times I had and have now. My fellows that lurk here, contemplating life, searching their purpose or just take a pause here. Know that everything will be alright, everything shall be received but that everything happens to you is for a reason. Our lives have been foretold already, but we live them as foretold. Make it the best, never give up.. no matter the squaws. Remember that once we test the cut of our sails, against the mighty and fierce world gobblers that stand in our way.. it is they who will be defeated, and us who will be victorious. Stand strong, stand firm, if you have to redo something.. redo it, but better. I for example am facing the college world gobbler, and while I have lost the initial battles.. I know I will redo the initial battles in a few months time and prevail harder than I have done at first. I have come so far despite all odds and I will reach the finish line

There was nothing on TV so I put this movie on...I was on the internet and upon hearing this...stopped dead in my tracks and had to watch it...the scene...combined with this beautiful song, took me. It is very much sweet sadness to it...had a tear in my eye I will admit. Very well done.

I can't believe I finally found it, after such a long time of intense searching.. always coming out on copies that don't even sound the same. I remember this scene as vividly as the first time I saw it, being taken away into another place and getting spooked up by those little dragons that suddenly appear. All I can think about while hearing this are the good times I had and have now.
My fellows that lurk here, contemplating life, searching their purpose or just take a pause here. Know that everything will be alright, everything shall be received but that everything happens to you is for a reason. Our lives have been foretold already, but we live them as foretold. Make it the best, never give up.. no matter the squaws. Remember that once we test the cut of our sails, against the mighty and fierce world gobblers that stand in our way.. it is they who will be defeated, and us who will be victorious. Stand strong, stand firm, if you have to redo something.. redo it, but better. I for example am facing the college world gobbler, and while I have lost the initial battles.. I know I will redo the initial battles in a few months time and prevail harder than I have done at first. I have come so far despite all odds and I will reach the finish line

Listening to this song reminded me of my Mom. She got me this movie after it came out since I love dragons... It reminds me of how much I miss her but I still feel happy. It's one of those songs i can keep replaying and it will never get old. This is the best song ever.

this was my childhood...
it was my brother that made me choose between stuart little and dragon hunters. I wasn't up 4 stuart so I picked dragon hunters. plus I promised I'd watch a movie with them. as we watched started 2 like it..I liked it very much. the best movie I ever saw.that was a big change in my life.when this song came on I was silent til it was over. a year as past. I still watch it with pop n chips everychance i get. this song makes me cry n think of my brothers.. I still cry.. but its tears of joy...

great movie, fantastic song. i just wish i saw this movie as a little kid so this song will mean a whole lot more to me. im going to make sure my baby brother sees this movie 100 times before before he turns 5 years old.
