Cheers for stopping by mate. The soulo, is extremely robust but I had to be very careful when pitching and taking down as there are many "moving parts" on these style tents if you know what I mean. See you on the next one! Atb Bob
Definitely looked a wild evening mate, where them kind of tents come into their own ⛺️👌, you can really pitch the Soulo anywhere due to its small footprint too, spot on mate, atb Mick 👍
Cheers for stopping by mate, I still need to come up your way and do a camp. Let's sort it in the new year 👍. Soulo was rock solid, could not be arsed with no sleep, though. See you on the next one.
looks like you were up there the same night the other guys on another channel went up the cheviots and was blowing a hoolie. defo higher wind than predicted.
Hey bud, yeah, I saw that video with the pegs flying out? It can be a buzz, but I wouldn't fancy going up a proper mountain in this in the winter. This was only a hill about 600m elevation (easy route off and know the area really well). The soulo is an exceptional tent, I love it.
@trickofthetrail I'll never trust a forecast for the peaks ever again! It wasn't that bad mate tbh but I knew I was only gona get an hours sleep. Mates tent leaking and folding was the tipper. See you soon bud
Don’t buy a £95 tent for winter. 😂. Can’t be the vern 1 leaking. I’ve got one, and it’s great. Great video though, I wouldn’t have wanted to pack down in that!
It was an interesting one, shall we say 😀 ... is a good spot this as it's 5 mins off the summit away from wind and then 40 mins walk back to car on a good path ... not as bad as it looks
@ haha. Not too far then. I’m local to the peaks. We went from langsett to ladybower a few months ago. Can’t remember what the storm was called but we got up about 6 packed and cracked on back! It got us though. Strong winds and sideways rain! It’s was lovely, built different in Yorkshire. . 🤣

Thanks for the video bob. Your tent looked pretty bomber but i totally get why you bailed. No fun in those conditions!
