      @Pllanet Neroen • This is why parents in every civilized nation need to teach their children what most (not all) of the Russian people are like. No civilized nation should do business with Russians because they'll just betray you and abuse you. Let the barbarians stick with each other ••• Russia, North Korea, Iran.
      The pundits that want to make this against Western values never mention they want you to align with barbarians. Each nation needs to decide are they mostly civilized or mostly barbaric. Civilized nations should support Ukraine and denounce Russia.

    • @PlanetJeroen
      @PlanetJeroen 2 года назад +17

      @@yvonnetomenga5726 impressive what you did to my name :D
      In my humble opinion, if you were born in Russia, you are a victim of its regime as much as Ukraine is atm. I 100% agree that Ukraine's pre 2014 borders need to get restored, I support NATO membership, I support them joining the EU, I want Ukraine to be made whole again first. But ffs, let's not forget about the wasted lives in Russia that are humans as well, and let's not pretend all Russians are of the ilk we all refer to as Orcs. I agree it is very hard, but if Ukraine is showing us anything, it is that the true sign of strength is not losing that humanity in the face of this barbarism. If they can, we have no excuse.

    • @yvonnetomenga5726
      @yvonnetomenga5726 2 года назад +1

      @@PlanetJeroen • LOL. My apologies on your name.
      I tried to be careful to specify not all Russians are barbarians. That's why I said "most (not all)." However, the behavior of the Russian troops and their political leaders is so egregious that it cannot exist without it being acceptable to the majority of people.
      As an example, people don't defecate in the middle of busy sidewalks in civilized nations. Yet these nations have homeless, crazy, addicted and other marginalized people. Yet even the outcast conform to society's norms.
      The barbarism we continually see from Russians tells you that is their societal norm. That doesn't mean every single individual in Russia is like that but it means that so many of them are barbarians finding a civilized Russian is like finding a needle in a haystack. Not a good use of your time if you have sewing to do. If you have business to do, do you really want to spend your time looking for a civilized Russian when so many other countries have honorable people?

    • @PlanetJeroen
      @PlanetJeroen 2 года назад

      @@yvonnetomenga5726 have you read about the Stanford Prison Experiment? Russia is basically an upscaled version of that. It's not fair to judge anyone but the leaders for that situation. I would argue rest just need rehabilitation and they will probably wake up, much like the Germans did right after WW2. They snapped out of it pretty fast.
      To be sure: prosecute anyone for war crimes they may have committed. No mercy there.

A few decades ago before our military started using MRE’s and the smokeless cooker that makes those chilli Mac MRE’s better than they already are, we used C-rations which from what I understand contained a good deal of canned food but I could be wrong. I remember seeing a picture of this soldiers when Azovstal was ordered to surrender and of course the difference in his appearance between that picture and what he looks like after several months of ruzzian captivity, shows you that ruzzian POW camps are run like nazi camps. All of this must be documented and the perpetrators should be persecuted and brought to justice. Ruzzia should be required to admit to crimes against humanity in Ukraine, should pay reparations and publicly apologize and cooperate with bringing justice before it is allowed any sort of reintegration in the civilized world. It should follow what Germany did after WWII and take full responsibility. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇸❤🇺🇦❤🇺🇸❤🇺🇦

    • @tomrogers9467
      @tomrogers9467 2 года назад +2

      The big problem is that Germany was a defeated country and under control of the allies. Even though Ruzzia will lose this battle, it will be all but impossible to bring any war criminals to justice. Ruzzia is not going to prosecute it’s own soldiers, nor are they going to extradite them for trial.

    • @evamasters5028
      @evamasters5028 2 года назад +4

      Yes, this is a problem. But crimes against humanity are crimes against humanity regardless of whether the perpetrators are defeated or not. First, all of this has to be recognized by the international community and second, it has to become a condition for russian acceptance in the civilized world. Sadly, countries like Israel, which is so sensitive about what was done to Jews during WWII turn a blind eye to how Ukrainian POWs and civilians are tortured and killed. If the west is united, a lot can be achieved overtime. For example, if russia ever wants to join EU it must be required to recognize the true events of this invasion, including the crimes against humanity. After putin's death there will be opportunities to demand justice. First, it must be documented and recognized by international court. It also has to enter history books. If not now, next generations of russians have to recognize these crimes for what they are. Putin should remain in history as the butcher and criminal that he is.

      It will probably be the last thing the Russian government will do, because they themselves believe they have done a good deed by fighting a Nazi and fascist regime that threatens "innocent" Russia. Those responsible in the Kremlin will probably never admit their war crimes or make amends for the extensive destruction in Ukraine. It remains a beautiful dream of justice I'm afraid.

    is beyond the pale of humanity, and dare not speak about it.
    Let me give you an example :-
    A 17yr old Chechen girl was abducted gang-raped and murdered.
    It was so horrendous even the Russians had to bring a prosecution.
    But Colonel Yuri Budanov, was only charged with murder, not gang rape
    (rape remains unmentionable)
    Because Russian depravity is so institutionally pervasive, it must remain unspoken.

    The Yankees will bring in better weapons it best for Russian to retreat. Imagine if Nato was involved. 70,000 Russian have died that number would easily go up 140,000 in 3 months. It's not worth it for Russia plus their economy has been going in the tank.

      Article 14 is about the fact that Prisoners of war are entitled in all circumstances to respect for their persons and their honour.
      To do otherwise is a war crime.

Our combined ancestors bled dry in tens of millions cleansing it out of Europe only to end up like this decades later due to the mistakes and inaction of grandchildren of those who cleansed it,all these martyrs and fighters of the world,are rolling in their graves. Especially those who fought and died here,in the thick of the WW2,in its most horrors or rape,pillage and murder of eastern Europe, bled for nothing,were back to step one.

      Yes, it is so sad to see how little some nations cling to old war traditions, which they believe give their soldiers the right to plunder, rape, murder and perform all kinds of primitive deeds in the country they have invaded. They obviously need many more years to develop into civilized people suitable for this world.

      @@ronblack7870 Countries of the allied bloc were economic partners of Germany on various degrees,from simple trade to Nazis handing out medals to those who through investment brought Germany out of economic collapse,like Henry ford. The thing of USSR warning Europe of the German threat was also there,willing to commit to each other in case of war with Germany, willing to stand up militarily for Czechoslovakia when westerns abandoned them,only to be denied access by poland,who joined in on the split of Czechoslovakia. Policy of collective security was a thing,and west rejected the USSR,so it worked with Germans instead as not to be isolated completely,who, despite being sworn enemies,had enough pragmatic thinking to realise USSR and Germany had ways to help each other, something allies didnt realise until Germany stretched from Bordeaux France to Lublin Poland. Nothing ever was simple,and it doesn't really help things anyway.
