This completely saved me a ton of time. The instructions from Basso are not easy to understand. Your video was so detailed and step by step that we got it ton with little difficulty. Bravo my friend.
Thank you so much for making this video. It was instrumental in my husband and I getting our shower door installed
Thank you so much. I watched this as I installed my doors and kept referencing back when I was confused. Again, thanks.
I love the soothing background music.
We just installed this one today. Awesome video. Very helpful supplement to the instructions that came with it
Thank you! A very detailed and concise explanation!
Thanks for making this video a local place wanted 3k for a very nice door and install. I bought this door kit with the 76” tall glass / oil rubbed bronze for like $900 shipped and special coating. I could do this but I’ll pay a guy a few hundred to install and head to the pub with the cash saved. Hahah!
One of the few people making install vids who wear SAFETY GLASSES!! I am tiling a tub shower right now. I will bed vertical frame rails in caulk as well as the bottom.
thank you, although we have plenty of videos without them! Congrats on your project,, sounds like a good one
Fantastic door choice for that shower. So much quality craftsmanship on that tile work that it would be a shame to cover it up wit a shower curtain!! Another great one!! Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!!
Thank you. You saved me a lot of time
Thank you so much for this video .
I just installed this door and this video was so much help! Thank you!
What door model is it?
Thank you so much, I'm looking to buy this model and I figured your channel would have something for me on this. I'm shocked it's the same model brand I'm looking to buy1 Thank you sooo much!

Gr8 thanks for uploading.. this is our next project. Will try to upload a video, may not be as good as you 😀
thank you, what kind of door did you chose?
@@HomeRepairTutor I have not decided it yet :)
Tip: Install the inside glass first!
When drilling with diamond bit , it looks like the drill is in reverse , is that correct ? and required by the instructions ?
Any tip to install a 60" framless shower door to a 61" opening? I need helppp
Please tell me the name and brand of tile they used in the mosaic for the back wall of the shower🙏🏻
we got that at our local Best Tile, it’s an 8”x8” porcelain...will have to get the box to see the name 👍🏼
Great video work for retirement home my boss is always buying what’s on sale that means 3 different door this year save me about a half an hour not having to read directions that are not very clear to begin with
Could you please answer this question? When drilling holes, are you only going the depth of the tile? You're not going through the membrane I would hope. I have seen many conflicting answers. I've learned a lot from your channel and am looking forward to a correct answer. I'm am looking at a pivoting door. Thank you!
I would only go the distance of the tile. But then if you don't, that what the silicon is for. chances of water getting into that area are very low anyways. You could always silicon in that area behind the hardware and the screw itself to keep water out even if you did drill all the way through the membrane
Do you caulk the edges outside of the shower?
Could this kind of door be used in a curbless system? We want to go curbless but not open plan since drafts can get cold.
I don't see why not as long as your floor is level....although if you are taller you're head might stick over the doors themselves haha
Have you ever done a video where you installed a similar door on a curb less shower?
Not sure if you guys still reply to comments but I can’t find an answer to this anywhere. I’m looking to buy a similar shower door that says it’s 58.5”-60” wide. My opening is 57 and 5/8” wide. Can you think of any reason I would not be able to use that shower door? Couldn’t I just cut down the header and footer a little more and have the doors overlap 3/4” more??
I would think you could but I have not personally done that before, sorry I couldn’t help. We’re you able to do that?
Well is this considered a frameless or semi frameless ??
I wished you was near me,
good job . but I do NOT recommend the shower door only 4 small 3/8 screws hold the door. with high probability that they do not tighten well. They do not come with up, down, inside, outside marking stickers. shower door is bad
Basco door
I wouldn't install this on my own if I dont have experience there's a bunch of things that can go wrong its a cool video to see the process but hire a real glazier to do it
How is this not a frame?
Semi frameless usually means there is no metal framing down the middle of the unit as a whole from my understanding
