Look up Anca Pennington. She tried to commit suicide after the show when she failed the tests. But it turned out that the burn marks on the childs legs were just ringworms (a common fungal infection that is easily treated). Even though the Steve Wilkos show was notified, they still aired the episode. Then there's Jesse Wayne Perkins, a murderer, who passed the tests, but later on he pleaded guilty to killing the little baby. I would NEVER take a polygraph test ever, no matter the reason. I do not trust them. There's a reason why they can't be used in court.

No matter how long it is between the separation and the divorce - people should wait to start dating until after the divorce. Typically, it is messy until there is a clean break and the next person ends up being a rebound and not a solid relationship. Everyone needs to heal before they introduce a new person into their lives since there are still months of self-doubt after a serious relationship or marriage break up. Many divorced couples still keep in contact and contemplate getting back together directly after the demise of the relationship. So a good time out between relationships is always a good idea.
Hearing people on these shows excuse bad behavior with "I love him" always makes me scrutinize the people I love a little extra to make sure I'm not letting them get away with that behavior
