Hailstorm Lays Waste To Family's Banana Plantation

Extreme weather events have been plaguing East Africa in recent weeks. And in fact, six Children of Uganda families experienced the devastating affects of a hailstorm in Kyotera district. The greatest impact was on crops, which were severely hit and destroyed in some cases. Kyotera Project Officer, Joseph Matovu, joins Teopista, a farmer supported by our Family Empowerment Program, to show us the impact on the family's banana plantation.
