Nehru's scientific views are one of the things I agree with. He is truly a man who believes in science and knows how to filter religion with science. But his cultural vision is contrary to the very essence of partition. The country that he wanted to make is an idealistic one. Inspite of being the birthplace of 4 religions, he tried hard to shed India's religious character like Turkey's Ataturk. One more important thing, i wanna share, unlike pseudo seculars of modern India, nehru was the only person I feel is truly secular. As per his actions and views, his secularism is seperation of state and religion but today's appeasing seculars think indian secularism is equal treatment or approach towards all religions. I really appreciate him for his true understanding of secularism.

We are so lucky to have him as our first PM. He laid the foundation for a nation where analytical rigor became one of our defining characteristics. Unfortunately I see a sincere effort to eradicate this idea but the right wingers folks are people with such low IQ that I am confident these people won't be able to eradicate the scientific temperament and this gives me hope.

Nehru was also an individual with normal minuses as well as pluses, but more plus points. He was nearer to Patel Saab and respected him [Patel was 10 years older than Nehru] in spite of differences on certain points than what Modi has been crying about having Patel copyright since 2014.
