I love taking a block & add two more for a small table runner. Then I will quilt it with some ruler work or freemotion to make those blocks pop.

Sherri, I alway enjoy your videos. ❤ The lightbulb went on when you mentioned making a wall quilt from a single block, with added borders. Thank you for sharing.

oh my.....so glad you did this trunk show...so many good ideas for me. Arthritis and old age are settling in quickly and I find smaller projects are more appealing/do-able for me. Picking one to begin will be difficult..love them all :). thank you, sherri 🪡

Thanks for sharing your mini quilts. I may just turn a few of my UFOs into mini quilts. I will feel like I accomplished something. I enjoy your channel and all the tips you provide. Thanks again!

Wow! I don’t know I I’ve never seen your hanging video! What a great method. I also like that it hides the dowel in the corner. Also genius with the tab & tacking it down.
Can you show how you hang a large quilt? I usually make 3 to 4 larger sleeve sections and use a metal curtain tension rod & magnets attached to wall with command strips. I’m sure there are better ways. I don’t like a visible quilt hanger. Our house is more modern & simple.
Thank you for all your tips!

I find that for myself I'm turning more towards making table toppers or small wall hangings as there are only so many quilts I need to make other than for my charity group. Maybe your next book should be a collection of mini quilts for use as you';ve shown. Now that is a book I would buy.

Off subject, however, thank you for the turned corner rulers video- I purchased the creative grids small one and the large one that you used. They have changed my quilting life!!! So fast and accurate! Makes making snowball corners and flying geese blocks so easy!! Of course if I am making lots of the same color I use the paper version. These rulers are so awesome for making fewer or many color blocks. Love them❤❤❤❤ thank you so much( just shows you can always learn something new - I've been quilting for 40 years). 😁😁😁

Love all of these mini quilts, and have some of the patterns. I need to 'book' some of these littles into my plans for 2024 sewing. Thanks for showing them. I actually just made one block into a mini quilt using some tiny leftover batiks I had....really love your idea of making the borders the size you need.

Mahalo mini, star bright mini and berry baskets are my favorites! I actually got really into quilting 30+ years ago by making lots of wall hangings. I miss the quick projects and I like minis even better because they can often fit where you might only normally hang a picture. Need to do some of these.

Love the minis! I have limited time for quilting so these projects are perfect. I also love seeing them on the wall. I recently realized that I could make a table runner and display it above a doorway instead of the table where it can get stained or hidden under things. Thank you for sharing your minis so much inspiration!

Your mini projects are beautiful. Table runners and small wall hangings are my favorite items to make. I noticed as you were moving your quilts that most seem rather stiff. Is that due to the fact that they are heavily quilted, or do you use a batting that has less drape. What is your favorite batting for your mini quilts?

What would you do with a mini quilt that you wouldn't do with a wall hanging. What's the difference?
Very nice quilts. I should make some minis and take a break from the bed size quilts.

Can someone help me I’m new and finishing up my first quilt to take to longarm. I see all these quilts she’s made…beautiful!! But looks like more than one thread color is used when stitching the topper? How do you know which threads to choose? Looks like she has darks in dark areas and lighter threads in light areas? Or is my eyes playing tricks on me? Please help thank you
