- Bajaj Auto has launched the Freedom 125 CNG bike in India at a price tag of Rs. 95,000 (ex-showroom). It is offered in three variants and will initially be available only in Maharashtra and Gujarat. The Freedom 125 gets a 2kg CNG tank and a 2-litre fuel tank that offers a combined range of 330km. The bike delivers a mileage of 102km/kg in CNG mode and 65kmpl in petrol model. Here's a detailed walkaround and first impressions of the Bajaj CNG bike.

It's perfect bike for rural maket where milage is top priority while buying a bike and for reliability,well its bajaj 😁😁
But the problem is the availability of cng filling stations which are only available in cities and highways
Maybe, this bike will help in better penetration of CNG stations in tier 2 & 3 cities.
I already have 5 bikes but after seeing this unique one I am thinking of buying. Really Nice motorcycle but I will wait till detailed review 😅😊

If this is a success, I'm hoping that Bajaj would launch a more premium variant of Freedom CNG with a 150cc engine. It can still be a commuter, but a slightly more powerful one. Perhaps slightly bulkier with a 3kg cylinder.
Let’s hope Bajaj makes more CNG bikes across segments.
Love this bike, only concern is the too much weight.. but can't help with the gas tank, they have done their best..
RIP TVS Raider.. TVS adamantly didn't give a kicker.. now the market probably is going to kick such a good bike out due to non-customer friendliness..

There are a number of motorcycles in the 125CC category. Lets take only three Bajaj Pulsar 125, Hero Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider 125. They all are fun to ride, but Xtreme 125R seems more practical with 60 KMPL when compared with Pulsar 125 and Raider 125 which gives around 55 KMPL. Raider on the other had tech loaded, and people sees the tech prefer the same. Pulsar, riders from the past who owned pulsar(s) would go with this regardless the new entrants.
Thus anyone who thinks of practical, futuristic and new way of commuting thinking of polluting less, shall definitely go with Freedom 125.
I can vouch for this new age vehicle for anyone regardless the age factor... Not to forget, as said by Rajiv Bajaj, please do make sure only two are travelling in the extreme case with a small kid or luggage and also by having necessary travel gears for protection.

CNG 85rs/kg ata he...so if u run only through CNG it can save u around 50% fuel cost...

This bike is a joke. At 1.30 lakhs why would anyone buy this abomination when cheaper and better bikes are available like TVS Raider, APACHE RTR160, Hero Xtreme 125R, Honda SP 125, Bajaj Pulsar NS125. It would've rocked the market if they stick to the conventional design, no one wants a Honda Navi CNG at 1.30 lakhs🤣
This bike is for mileage conscious consumers. None of the above mentioned bikes have a CNG option.

Yes bro.. little too much priced but this should be bcz of the first in the market.. can go down a little bit if demands increases.. but let's think about running costs for 10+ years after buying this.. it's 1 Rs per km.. THAT'S A LOT OF SAVINGS..
