Likely what is termed CA glue, at least it resembles what I have seen in other videos. Cyanoacrylate, or what is branded at least here as Superglue. Seems thinner, perhaps more dilute than I tend to see here. Though I wouldn't rely on that alone, perhaps more to keep wood in place while you use screws etc.
I really don’t care for your safety protocol. Using power tools one handed in flip flops and standing on a pile of uneven scraps! But I liked the build and will use it!
