I agree she could be a danger to our national security. Her life could also be in danger if she came back here. In one interview a few years' ago I remember her being asked about the bins with heads of people who had be beheaded in which she looked apathetic and said it meant nothing to her. She was used to the murders. That is disturbing to me. I think she should stay away. But who will want her?

Both sides have a valid argument:
1- She was 15 when she fled. She was groomed, given enticing promises, money and instructions to flee and meet with her groomers. It is necessary to reiterate that she was 15 when this happened. There is no circumstance in the UK where someone of that age would be punished.
2 - She was fully indoctrinated into that madness. She was a part of the religious police. She was an active part of something that rivals the SS in terms of cruelty and disregard for human rights and dignity. She has been caught lying in several occasions. No one really knows what her level of commitment to that cause is. The judge considered these risks.

Just today has been a court ruling that a 14 yr old has been detained for minimum of 13 years for murder, he stabbed a child of the same age, he is now 15 so that will be the age registered as his sentence age. We do not want or need our world to keep going the way it is, there must be deterrents to this kind of thing.

In the case of the 14 yr old, the authorities had a body, a murder weapon and other evidence that allowed for a court ruling with a custodial sentence.
In the case of Shamina, whatever she did, UK authorities have no means of gathering evidence that can lead to a conviction for things that happened in Syria.

Citizens over Criminals.
Ones ignorance nor naivety is an excuse for ones horrendous actions and choices. There must be a level of responsibility and accountability for such actions. A criminal is a criminal, no matter who they are.
There is no guarantee of imprisonment in the uk for crimes committed abroad. Details of the extent of the crimes committed are vague or difficult to confirm. Punishment can only be served where the crimes were committed.
To be at such odds with ones nation of birth, then to go to war against it by way of joining a psychotic murderous enemy. It is treasonous. The de-radicalisation system & process, clearly does not work.
None of the other terrorists that covertly returned to the uk, have been charged or sentenced for their crimes committed abroad. Still walking & talking freely.

Has anyone seen any recent footage of Syria. The whole country is in ruin, most places are left in rubble. Now instead of sitting in a camp and doing nothing for years, getting a hand out and free legal, i think she should be working hard and build the country she had a hand in destroying. These interviews are so badly handled, it’s infuriating. I was expecting more. The one lady that always and immediately interrupts callers should not be there. They didn’t “loose” the second caller who was interrupted. I’m pretty sure she hung up. Why even phone in, when you’re immediately cut off because you say something that isn’t favoured by a panel member?!? And yes, we’ve all done stupid things when we were 16, but they generally do not include deliberately putting others into mortal danger, watching them being killed and finding fulfilment in other people’s death sentences. There’s obviously something seriously wrong in her brain and heart. Normal 16-years olds might steal a mars bar or smoke a joint, for heaven’s sake!
