Was there 4 of 5 nights in Mexico. That was a RRROAARR… it was like 1986 all over again. I saw her in Paris and Houston… Mexico City was something else!! Momentous. Adulation. The screaming was a frenzy deserving of the Queen. Superstar.
Mexico came through! As a Madonna fan I am beyond proud of her. The tour went so well and sold out. I saw the show and it was truly such a special experience.

Such a great podcast! I flew to Mexico City from California for this concert. I saw show #5. It was beyond moving with the energy I felt from the crowd. I saw her in Sacramento and Palm Springs …. Mexico brought the heat to this tour!

Yeah, that great audience and their electrifying “roar”, cheering and applause in the 5 shows in Mexico City was so spectacular, and clearly touched and energized Madonna. It’s reminiscent of her Sticky&Sweet tour concert in Buenos Aires-where the adoring crowd repeatedly chanted “Ma-don-na! Ma-don-na! Ma-don-na!” at the huge River Plate soccer stadium similar when the Argentines cheered for their soccer icon Maradona when he played at this same venue. Salma Hayek guesting at the Vogue number on the final show, dressed up with the look of Frida Kahlo that she portrayed on the film was outstanding. Thank you Stefan for hosting this wonderful guest.
I'm so sad Madonna is not bringing the tour to Australia! Completely gutted to be honest. And then some of you lucky people got to see it 5 or more times lol. Now I wish i'd flown to Mexico to see the show (I would have but it's very expensive and a long flight from Down Under) I'm actually surprised Madonna is not taking the show to Buenos Aires, Chile and maybe Colombia where she has quite a big fan base especially with the Maluma connection on the last album. I bet she could sell out not just arenas but maybe even stadiums in places like Buenos Aires. Seems strange to take all the equipment just to do the two shows in Brazil when the crowds are so amazing in Latin America. Fingers crossed a third leg of Celebration tour is announced. Stephan, could you talk about the dancers, the nostalgia they must be feeling. They were ready to tour when Madonna got sick not knowing what would happen and they had to wait. It feels they were there for her and it seems they really brought the energy to the show . In addition , friendship. Thanks for you shows on this channel
The dvd should be interactive and have the options to pick what version of the tour setlist you want to watch 😂 pick between I will survive or express yourself, rain or take a bow. 😂😂😂
My wild idea: I wish “Cherish” as a bonus, lets put some cute latin mermaids in the ocean, put a spotlight on those mermaids while they are swimming alongside the left stage and put it live on screen accompanying Madonna singing this beautiful song. Ooops, she kinda did that already 🤭
