Definitely! Being able to connect it would have made it perfect though. Especially for people who only wish to use Google Home as their smart home platform. That being said, I only ever check the Nest app when it sends me a notification whenever something’s is up or to let me know it successfully tested itself. Because if there’s one thing it’s good at, is giving you a peace of mind.
expcted more about batttery life from a 5 year user. but dead after 4 hours of testing says enough...moving on to a better product, not for me this one, thanks
I understand man, was pretty disappointed about that myself. I do have to say the one in my corridor with pathlight enabled is holding up pretty good so far. But what’s a good smart alternative right? I also have some fibaro smoke sensors, but those make a habit of going off in the middle of the night. I’m curious to see which smoke sensor you’ll choose eventually. Please let me know and I might give it a shot myself😃👍 Groetjes Ties
How come it is still not available in the Google Home app ? What a shame !!!
Tell me about it! It’s crazy!😄
So is it worth getting without being able to connect to Google home?

Beep beep beep!!
And still not supported in the Google Home app.
Unbelievable
@@TechNovelTies But yet you can get an ADT smoke detector in the Google Home app.
@jamesm568 I didn’t know that! You’re making it even worse!😆
@@TechNovelTies Oh it does get worse as the Google smoke alarm doesn't even work with the ADT alarm system that replaced the Google alarm system.
🙈🤣
