G1 sp was made not cause banishing field is better than a monster negate itself but cause i needed to resolve sequentia equip to dies irae and i feared he popping irae.
G3 i wanted to go first but a friend of mine asked me to test forcing ww runick going first post side and i tried.
I simply had to keep druiswurm, that was my big mistake
Standard siding takes in dark ruler and takes out some floodgates,so I think it was actually good idea just this guy wasn’t playing very standard

@@albertolozano4620 i assumed he played 2 as many players I've seen do but after talking with some friends testing it and knowing after people only play one it would've been better for sure there. In general though just keeping it for my turn was strictly better although i would've lost anyway
i do not understand how u elect to play nibiru vs yubel of all decks, like when does that deck ever lose to nib only?

It’s total crap indeed ahahah it works with that garbage of runick bc for some reason we still have tip at 3 and fountain at 2. Limit those two and that deck will disappear from the meta as it should have a long time ago
It doesn't do anything on its own yeah. But it can be looped a lot with the tuners bouncing back synchros

@@tommasopenati9635ur confusing this with runick stun lmao, u must be rlly simple minded and salty to think white woods runick is brainless. using the interactions and knowing what lines to go for and deciding for high risk reward plays or safer control lines, and breaking boards with the deck isnt brainless. Dont talk shit, when u prob play a combo deck that has linear combos and clear chokepoints and sets up a hundred negates if u pray not to get handtrapped xd
@@AceSif155 runick stun can’t remove the floodgates so no i’m not confusing the two. Yeah well the line is ending up on the lv8 and the trap set, some random links and pray you draw into tcboo or skill drain. Not brainless but pretty average complexity to pilot

keep in mind that the spirit gates can just add back nightmare pain
@@micahcatelan2878 I know, but this doesn't matter with the situation on the video. Gates add back as an ignition effect on main phase. The play that Austin was talking happened on battle phase

You are correct. But as soon as they attempt to go BP it has to be skipped because a Runick Spell has been activated so the player proceeds to the EP.

@@tommasopenati9635why are you so salty about Runick ? Also no Runick combo is fine without any floodgate. You play Skill drain because its allowed for some reason, but even if it was bad the deck would still function the same.
Yubel actually won this duel. Don’t know why runick player didn’t attack with sp and the white forest synchro around 12 min mark.
