I would turn that area with the grill into a really cool outdoor kitchen with all the bells with whistles. Check out Kelly's Country Life, they are based in FL but their outdoor kitchen is a chef's kiss!!! I can see you and Danielle with one and friends and family visiting down the road. It would be a big step up from Jared's that he had in Terrell and what you had at the off grid before the Shoot Dang Ranch! The barn is looking awesome!

Was thinking. You doing a dry pour foundation for your sawmill. You then could enclose it at a later date.
They make stone/rock sections that make it easier to apply with out having to do each single piece. I'm not sure if they are artificial or just cut stone. It kinda goes up like shingles.
Three to four thousand is a lot of money Jason but if in the long run if you want to have a great driveway it probably be worth it. If you piece meal it and do a bit at a time you might find you will not get the over-all results that you want. God Bless from your Canadian Friend.

Qhat you can do with curbed posts is use them for a swing,, two support posts in a trianhe shop with cross post supporting the swing.. the the curved edge facing up to support the weight of the swing that is big enough for you 2, your kid and maybe a dog or 2

I’m thinking once the grain bin is moved the deck will become a foundation for a studio/office to help with their videography. Heck, it’s so big they can split it and make a GUEST NEST with a mini kitchen for company or a grandparent suite. It would be a great space and lots of room! Just my thoughts 💭 lol

The barn looks great! A roadbase driveway w/gravel or rock would be a great change for ya'll. 3 grand for a drive that long is a pretty good price.
