Great review! I hadn’t heard of this one. It’s nice to have a UK based resource on the subject. I think I might have to add this one to my collection.😊
It's really nice to have a UK-specific one isn't it. There are some great books out there but so often with a US-skew. Thanks for the support as always 💟
Home Ed Sister - I love that! 💟 Sorry you are feeling lost. Anything you'd like to share? Have you just started with home ed? Feel free to send me an email if you fancy. Take care!
It would be interesting to do a study or survey to see the prevalence of mental health problems in school and home educated children.... Great videos Cathryn, you are an inspiration! From a mother contemplating HomeEd but hasnt committed yet!
Absolutely, would be great to see some research like that. Thank you so much for a lovely comment, will be really interested to hear if you do decide to home ed! Is there anything that is holding you back at the moment?
I would love to discuss this with you! I'm here in the UK too, do you have an email? My main obstacle is fear that I am not good a teacher and balancing home education with running a house too. Also, practical things such a school trips, experiments/projects and group work... I wouldn't know how to recreate this at home 😅.
@@KaukabSultana You're more than welcome to email me! Or DM on insta (although I check that less)...we've all had those thoughts I think they are completely normal to have. The key, imo, is not tryng to recreate all the 'school things' at home! My email is in my YT bio if you click the arrow next to "Demysitfying Home Education | Denormalising school" under the channel name. Look forward to chatting!

Would love a video on the different styles of homeeducation/homeschooling.
I am learning or unlearning so much!!
Thanks for the suggestion, I could definitely do an overview of different styles; although I'm no expert in any :) Like you - unlearning so much!
