  • The fish that are in Quarantine are now ready to move into The One. Moving in will be a Captive Bred Yellow Tang by Biota, a Yellow Tail Purple Tang, Yellow Eye Kole Tand and a Pair of Black Storm Clownfish. These guys will be joining the Earmuff Wrasse and Pink Spot Goby in this 150 Gallon Reef Tank. We also have corals in the tank so I'll show you my aquascape and current coral selection. #AaronsAquarium #TheOne

    Wow you got balls. Adding so many expensive and delicate corals to a full out algae bloomed uncycled tank is ballsy :) I hope for the best! Also a lawnmover blenny would look nice in there, with all the different plateaus it can use to perch on.

    Looks amazing! You inspired me to go and remove the broken glass from the front of my 210G tank. I have had this tank for 18 months or so and now I think it is time to get the front glass replaced and build a stand! Keep up the great work, you are inspiring at least one future reefer.

    A group of peacock wrasse. I have 4 and look amazing but would go for 8, when tank is more mature and lots of life for them to pick on. Let tank mature before adding anymore fish, just let it do it’s thing. Don’t make the RUclips mistake of too much too soon. Great tank!!

    Very cool tank! I recently made the switch to saltwater and I love it. I've had some troubles but I haven't let it get to me. I love your RUclips channel and as for the stocking, I think it would be pretty cool if you put a bluestreak cleaner wrasse in it. Mine follows me around and interacts with me on so many levels. They're very cool fish and very adorable. I'm also starting a nano tank with a midnight black clown and a misbar clown. Can't wait to pick them up from my LFS because they reserved them for me and will be attempting to pair them in a couple of days. Anyway, very cool tank and very cool channel. I'll update you on the nano tank also if you and your viewers would like!

    If your clowns had white spot (perhaps not visible) and because of the life cycle of Crypto irritans, your main tank could still have white spot. You need to leave it fallow for 60 days to be sure!

  • @benbowland
    @benbowland 5 лет назад

    I think a Borbonius Anthias would be perfect for your setup. They get big enough to not get overshadowed by your tangs while still having plenty of room in the 150 gallon tank.

  • @thefirehawk8520
    @thefirehawk8520 5 лет назад +1

    Get a midas blenny, they are really fun to watch.
    A chalk bass, my all time favourite fish as well as one of the reasons why I got into the hobby.
    And a fish of the Family of Plectranthias, those are anthias that evolved to live (and kinda look) like hawkfish. They usually have about the same aggression level as most hawkfish, but are less common in to find in stores, which makes them a fancy unique addition.
    EDIT: Also skunk cleaner shrimp, in my opinion a reef tank without them isn't a proper reef tank.
    You could also try to convert some Sailfin Mollies (Poecilia latipinna, or "salty sailfin molly", as they are often called in Austria) from freshwater back to saltwater. Their wild counterpart actually lives in lagoons and brackisch regions, which most people don't know. It's a really fun and interesting project and in saltwater they are usually way healthier and breed better than in freshwater. Other perks of them are that they eat algea in places tangs can't reach, because their mouths are to big, they are somewhat schooling and therefore an hardy and unique alternative to green chromis and anthias, they are super easy to keep and breed and the fry is often food for the other tank mates. They are also available in a variety of color and 100% captive bred as well as quite the oddball.
    Even if you don't want them in the tank you should still consider taking a look at them, they are truly remarkable fish and by the way I write about them you can probably tell how much joy mine bring me.

    I always liked things that were interesting to watch - so try to go for pairs of fish, blennys with character, or shrimp/goby pairings. It’s great to watch the interactions. If looking for multiples then diamond head anthias are a good choice as they stay quite small and won’t ruin the proportions of the tank
