Autumn leaves of Buttsuji Temple(Hiroshima).
Located somewhat north-west of Mihara city in Hiroshima prefecture is the 14th century Buddhist temple.
This temple itself lies very isolated in a deep valley surrounded by forests.
In autumn these forests paint the landscape with bright and vibrant colour.
Its Autumn leaves are particularly noteworthy drawing thousands of people to it each autumn.

臨済宗佛通寺派の大本山である「佛通寺」は、西日本屈指の禅道場として知られるが広島県内屈指の紅葉の名所でもあり、例年、10月下旬頃からモミジやカエデなどが色付き始め、11月中旬ごろが見ごろを迎える。境内は、見頃になると観光客で賑わい、古い杉木立とモミジとの競演など美しさは格別。入口にある巨蟒橋（きょもうきょう）からは、川沿いに続く紅葉が眺められ、どこを切り取っても美しい風景に囲まれているため、写真を撮る人も多い。一帯は、県立自然公園に指定され散策にもお勧め。紅葉の時期にはJR三原駅から直通バスも運行されて約30分ほどで着く。
