brah if you're concerned about getting the best medical attention, and you know you have medical issues, these are things you gotta consider before you go to prison, prison isn't some high-level medicial facility, it's a center for punishment, and a lotta yall just be exaggerating, a prison can be sued if they prevent you from getting medical attention, its LAW that they have to, a lotta these cats just be making the most out of it

That’s a scary situation Being in jail and needed medical attention smh. When I was in the F they made me take the wrong medication for a month til the doctor finally changed it and the paperwork went through. Jail is the last place you wanna be with a medical problem. They will not help you. They completely mishandle medical from top to bottom

I was in a Federal Camp back in 2015 and a white dude caught some type of fungus in his nose and they told him it was nothing but after a couple weeks the Lil bump became huge and took up his whole nose. They ended up bursting it but a couple weeks after that he got rushed to the hospital and they cut dudes nose off. Maybe 2wks later they sent him home on a Medical release and a couple months later we heard that whatever it was was cancerous and dude died.

I turned 30 in jail n watched them give my man a 6 to 12. I felt guilty as shit leaving there without my friend. There wasn’t anything I could do tho n he was getting sent up too anyway. At the end of the day I learned a lot while I was in there. I was doing shit on the street everyday that could’ve sent me to jail for 10 20 years n I didn’t know lol. Everything I was doing was just so normal I didn’t realize that all it takes it something stupid to happen n there goes your life. So I’m glad I spent that time in there but I’m never going back. That’s why I stay to myself n I don’t go out much. I had 2 ppl come see me 2 ppl put money on my books n 2 ppl that picked up the phone after that I said fuck this shit. I use to help everyone n no one showed love so it wasn’t hard to cut everyone out. Ppl out here really ain’t shit n most of the time they’re happy when you get booked. It makes more room for them.
